We stumbled across this shop while in Solvang. It’s like a color me mine, but no need to bake the clay. The prices don’t burn a hole through your pocket like color me mine does so we were super excited to do some arts and crafts.
Great selection of figurines to paint. clay and paper machete. Perfect for kids and adults and couples. The service was excellent! The ladies here were wonderful, kind, cheerful, and super helpful. They let us pick all the colors we wanted and changed our brush water when needed.
Lovely place! Would come back again :)

This is a lovely place for kids of ALL ages! It is so nice to have somewhere to go in the valley with your kids that encourages creativity. They have crafts of all kinds here and offer a wonderful place for birthday parties. A+

I came here with my sister and our girls, ages 10 and 11 and they absolutely loved this place! We all sewed little pillows and the girls also painted a ceramic piece while I painted a fabric pocket for a walker. The staff are super patient, helpful, and kind, and there are all kinds of crafts to try out. My daughter wants to come back… but, we live 4 hrs away!

Love the fabrics here! Can I say that again? The fabrics are coordinated so you can easily find fabrics that match one another. It definitely takes the guess work out of figuring out what goes with what. It’ll cost ya though. It’s definitely more more than double your prices at say Joann’s or Walmart but you’re not gonna find more modern, trendy patterns than here. However, there is a 50% off bin where there sits several bolts of cute fabric.
There’s a ton of crafty ideas for those who are creative. My fave? They’ve got vinyl material to make your own grocery bag or make an old couch look new. So if you’re into upcycling and creating cute things… this is your place!
I had to take a star off for their higher prices, but I’d still say it’s worth it to visit this place and see what fancies you.

Craft store with pretty much every craft in mind. Knitting, sewing, quilting, painting, beads, origami, clay, etc, etc. Has a whole room for kids type craft supplies too. They do kids craft parties where you can have a creative party for your kids birthday making stuff. If I was a kid though I’d rather eat pizza and play video games.
Staff was extremely friendly. My wife who’s a quilter scored on some ridiculously cheap fabric they had. I personally don’t have a single creative cell in my body so I just wandered around bored waiting for my wife to finish shopping.

Cute place. The one I am at is the one on Carrillo St in Santa Barbara. Could not find a check in for this one so I’m leaving one here. But my kid had a great time. Very reasonable and the staff here is very nice.

Great space with project supplies like fabrics, felts, paints, etc. Also a space to learn to knit or crochet.

I loved this place, I have to say I think it was my favorite place in Solvang! the store is neatly kept and like a big fun house for us crafty people!
A must see for knitters, crochetters (sp?), and sewers alike. Even my husband had a fun time in the store! I wish this place was in LA! I bought the cutest stuff!
