I have been a client of Moxie for years, and Dana is the only person I will trust to cut my hair! She is extremely talented and professional, and has done me justice on several different haircuts throughout my life. Moxie is always buzzing like a true neighborhood salon, and you feel the warmth and friendliness the moment you walk in. No uppity attitudes here!
I would recommend Moxie’s services to absolutely anyone (men or women), and walk-​ins are welcome. Melissa, who runs the front desk, is familiar with all the expertise of the team. Just tell her what you need, and she will set you up with the right person! Really happy that Moxie is upgrading to a bigger salon. Next month, they’ll be moving to a different location in Solon… looking forward to visiting the new space!

Found this salon here on Unilocal while in need of a hair cut after relocating. Their receptionist was awesome, very friendly and got me scheduled right away. I had a short length, structured hairstyle, just wanted a trim, which is why I was looking for a salon with good reviews.
Their cut and style price is $ 45, comparable for a good cut. BUT…
I did not get a good cut. The stylist they assigned to me assured me that she knew what I wanted and that my cut was one of her specialities. I repeatedly explained to her where it was to be shorter, shape, ect. After I had finally given up trying to explain to her I watched her turn my hair into a too short helmet. At the very end of the cut, after I thought she was finished, she proceeded to plug in clippers. I immeadiately told her I did not want her using clippers. She proceeded to tell me it was just to clean up the ends and that I was going to love my hair.
Then she clippered my neck… WHAT?!?
So what do you do? Stand up immeadiately making a scene explaining that she just did what you specifically told her not to? NO, you wait until shes done, pay your bill and politely get the hell out of there, waiting to contact management at a later time.
The next day I contacted mangement, they made arrangements for me to come in for the owner to fix the hair I had left. She attempted to fix, while never acknowledging the fact I was there for a redo or having a conversation with me about my complaints from the first stylist. Nothing was offered for my inconvenience of having to go there twice or having to wait for a horrible cut to grow out.

I’ve been going to David forever and have always been happy with my hair, whether he is doing a complicated shorter cut or a basic trim now that my hair is long. I also took my fiancé for a cut and he did a great job. The salon is adorable and David is surely the best stylist in Cleveland.
