Duffy’s Flowers & Plants

The only reason they got one star is because I could not give them lower. Hands down the worse customer service. They got my order wrong two separate times. The first order it wasn’t delivered on the expected day. The second time I went through an online site not knowing that they would use Duffy. Well they messed the order up that time by not delivering the teddy bear that was apart of the order. The worse part is that they are very nonchalant about the mistakes they make. Do not give them your business if at all possible.

Overpriced. Enough said. I went there on valentines day to buy roses. They charged 4x the amount of the two grocery stores in the area and their service was not the most welcoming.

I am so disappointed in Duffy’s flowers. They did not deliver the flowers to my mother on her birthday as promised. The excuses were rain, prom and no one was home. They could’ve left them at the front door, where it was covered from the rain. They never called to let me know about this. I had to find out by asking my mother if she received them. Sadly, she said no. When I told them about my disappointment they acted like it was no big deal and they would get the flowers delivered at their convenience the next day. I will definitely be looking for other florists in the future.

They sent the poorest flower arrangement I have ever seen from a florist. Not on the internet they said because it was one of the «cheapest» ones sent by friends. It looked like the bargain flowers from the cheap super market, with the tiniest vase I have ever received. When I called to complain the owner hung up on me.

I would give this place ZERO stars if it allowed me to. I went to Duffy’s back in January. My friend and I planned a dinner party for a friend and I wanted to add the extra touch of center pieces to the table. I wanted to make these center pieces myself — I was there for supplies. This very nice woman was helping me pick out the flowers, greens, and correct glassware to use. I wanted squares opposed to vases. I wanted light pink roses with some sort of small muted flower and greens. Nothing too outlandish and she was trying to get it all in order for me she let me know she was not into floral arranging so she would ask the «master». Or whatever. Sure.
This so called «master» was AWFUL. She came over completely discredited her co-​worker who was doing a fine job helping me. Put my squares back, told me my flowers would not look good. She told me I did not have proper training to assemble anything that would look remotely good and suggested I buy something she had already put together from their case. She offered me some wild flower looking things in baskets. I told her that’s not what I wanted. She then told me I should get orange-​ish pink-​ish color tulips I again told her that is not what I wanted. If she would have listened to me or her co-​worker she would have known that. After she continued on her condescending tirade — I interrupted her to tell her she was «very rude and condescending.» and informed her I would be taking my business elsewhere. I will NEVER go back.
I went to Heinen’s in Bainbridge bought 70 dollars worth of flowers and made GORGEOUS center pieces despite my «lack of training» in flower assembly.

Absolutely delivered! Had flowers delivered for my girlfriend’s birthday and they were on time and delivered to the right spot. Best of all, they turned my totally directionless «something pretty in pink and white» into an arrangement that she loved.

There are two other reviews for Duffy’s that are pretty negative and I just don’t understand where they’re coming from or what they’re seeing!
Yesterday was the 3^rd special occasion bouquet I have purchased directly from Duffy’s. The staff, as always, were busy but friendly, cheerful, and knowledgeable — we even had a good time joking and laughing during my flower pickup. And as for the flowers themselves — beautiful in quality and expertly arranged (see the photos I posted).
Are you negative reviewers talking about the right florist? Did you order flowers through them but another florist arranged/​delivered them (which is common amongst florist networks)? Just sayin’…

This douche sent my grandmother wilted flowers. Terribly embarrassing.
Never again.
