Had a craving for some fro-yo the other night so walked over to this spot. Not a huge selection of yogurts(about 8) but I thought their tart, vanilla and peanut butter were all great. Good selection of toppings from cereal to fruit to cookies and candy. One thing they were missing… Those gooey syrupy walnuts! I thought it perfect hit the spot and no complaints!

Dropped into Yummy Yogurt after having dinner next door. The place in small but clean and functional. The flavor options are not as numerous as, say, Yogurtland, but the flavors they do carry are very tasty. We tried their mint cookie, vanilla shake, tart and cake batter and they were all very creamy with good consistency. The price at $ 0.56/oz is a bit higher than most froyo places, but this is Solana Beach and it’s the only froyo place in that little area and so they can get away with it. Guy at the counter was friendly and let us try to guess how much our cup of yogurt would cost. We didn’t get it right, of course, and so had to pay up but nice of them to have that option. Next time I’m going there with a plan. I wanna win me some free froyo.

friendly staff! delicious yogurt! this place is solana beach’s ices cream dream! I had the mint cookie, peanut butter, and vanilla flavors– all super delicious! The topping dispensers are one of a kind, you can’t help but feel like a kid in a candy store! There’s a huge variety of yummy cereals and candys! This is a perfect idea for display because it shows you the world of possibilities that await your yogurt cup. Staff was friendly– and encouraged me to play the guess your yogurt price game. I was off by 30 cents! But I could so the fun and excitement the kiddos might have in playing this guessing game! I was really calculating, haha. come to this place for sweet treats! you won’t regret it.

Nice place, small with a limited selection. Good selection of toppings and sauces. Prices are slightly higher then let’s say yogurt world or at least it seemed that way. They play a game where you guess the price of your yogurt and if you guess right you get your yogurt for free. I thought that was fun and cool. Over all a good experience. It’s a nice small local joint. Do it.

Great place. The owner is always so friendly and even helps us try to guess the right weight on the yogurt. If you guess the exact weight, you get it for FREE. We frequent here and won’t go anywhere else. It’s in a great location for some yogurt after the beach or dinner. And also, really good yogurt!

Delicious frozen yogurt and a nice variety of flavors. Good toppings, and a clean store. Almost all of the flavors are also gluten free, so if you subscribe to that type of diet this isn’t a bad place to grab some delicious fro-yo.

Imagine my excitement when I saw that they had froyo flavors such as «Girl Scout Thin Mint cookie» and«vanilla milkshake»! …and imagine my disappointment when I purchased them, and they were most certainly not those flavors. The vanilla tasted like liquid plastic. The«thin mint» was no different from the basic chocolate froyo you get for 99 cents at any gas station(albeit Yummy Yogurt’s tasted more plastic-y, less creamy) with a light medicine-esque mint flavor. I do want to point out I know my Girl Scout Thin Mint flavor! I’m a Thin Mint cookie addict, and I’ve enjoyed the official Girl Scout Thin Mint flavor froyo from Yogurtland, as well as the official Girl Scout Thin Mint ice cream from Dreyer’s, and Donut Bar’s take on Thin Mint cookies. This was most certainly not thin mint. And the other flavor was not vanilla milkshake. I’m a milkshake connoisseur; I would know what a milkshake tastes like. I ordered it in a small cup, which I purposely didn’t fill all the way, and decidedly did not get any toppings. The price total for the mediocre froyo with the false labels and zero toppings: $ 9. YIKES! I’d give 3 stars based on the mediocrity, but the high prices, the sensationalized mislabeling, and the highly uncomfortable seating make it 2 stars.

Cute place with good yogurt. Love the location and the owner/manager(?) is so friendly! The«guess your yogurt and it’s free» thing is also a nice touch.

I never really venture around Solana Beach, but when dropping off my girlfriend at the station, we had a lot of time to kill being there super early so we walked around and walked into this place since we weren’t hungry enough to grab food. Nice little frozen yogurt place. Everything is pretty standard with toppings — they aren’t limited so they pretty much have everything you could want. I love the guess your price at checkout. I was off by $ 0.26! Next time I’ll get it!

I won free yogurt here. I guessed the exact price of my yogurt and got it for free I kid you freakin’ not. I’d never been here before and I’m not from here so I probably won’t be back, but I just had to leave a review about how awesome it is to get free yogurt. Also the guy behind the counter was super nice and genuinely excited that I won the price guessing game. The store is very clean, the topping station very clean and organized, also the yogurt was good. And I won free stuff, so, there you go.

Pretty decent fro-yo. Definitely more cream based, so if you like the rich flavors more than the tart ones, you’d like this place. Not too many flavors to choose from. It’s a small place, and they give you one sample cup, so I didn’t try to sample too many. The two that I really liked were the Purple Yam flavor and the Cake Batter. Typically, I am more of a tart fan. However, their purple yam and cake batter flavors beat the plain tart in this case. Purple Yam: great if you like taro. It tastes more like a sweet potato though, which is absolutely delicious and awesome. Very rich, and pairs well with any of the toppings I got(strawberries, mochi, mini caramel bites) Cake Batter: typically, I would stay away from this, but it was one of the lower calorie flavors(what?!), so I gave it a try. Instead of the typical artificially sweet frosting-like flavor that you would expect for a flavor like cake batter, you get a rich, more vanilla-y taste to it. Reminds you much more of ice cream. Pineapple/Plain Tart: I got the mixed version of this. Was pretty good, but I’d say, if you have the other flavors, do one or the other. Mixing them wasn’t a particularly good idea in my opinion. This reminded me of piña colada, though, in frozen yogurt form. Not too bad either. Sadly, they didn’t have cheesecake bites!(my ultimate die-for topping in froyo). Nevertheless, it was a good post-midterm, before the train, dessert to have.

I can still taste the yogurt… Mmmm. Yummy Yogurt offers a a good selection of both sweet and tart yogurts, and they not only have amazing flavor, they are the perfect consistency. My vanilla was creamy and sweet, but not overpowering, and my tart was perfectly balanced and tart without being sour. The employee assisting us(who is, I assume, the manager or owner) was very friendly. Other bonuses: They have a small lot for convenient parking, and you can guess how much your yogurt weighs for a chance to have it for free.

With a name like«Yummy Yogurt» you know it better be yummy or else a lot of bad jokes will be following!!! Well Yummy did not disappoint — consistency was amazing, they also had one of the best«Plain Tart» flavors I have ever had. The Yogurt here is definitely A+ Parking was nice with their private lot, also the guy behind the counter said we could stay parked while we walked to the beach and back(Thank you!) Finally, they let you guess how much your yogurt will cost for a chance to get it for FREE, great idea! I wish I lived closer to the place, but I was vacationing here.
