This was my first visit to Soap Lake and i plan to come back often and i will definitely stay here again! My room was like a small apartment suite with a full kitchen! The price and proximity to the lake are unbeatable! Best spontaneous vacation ever!

Masters Inn is a quaint, clean and perfectly located place to stay overnight in Soap Lake. The actual lake of Soap Lake is right across the street, and Lake Lenore Caves, Blue Lake, Lake Lenore, Dry Falls State Park and all the associated fishing & hiking activities are within a 20min drive up the Grand Coulée. While I fully recommend camping in the lower Grand Coulée, staying in a mid-century small-town motel is a pretty fun experience too. The rate was really cheap and the room was very clean. The hotel manager was friendly on the phone and in person, and they have wifi. The only inconvenience was the limited number of electrical outlets in the room — but that is totally excusable considering the age of the building and the fact it is a small business, not a chain of hotels or a big-budget resort. The beach & city park of Soap Lake is across the street and the town’s diners, saloons and other motels are 2 or 3 blocks away. I’ll definitely come back to the Masters Inn next time I’m staying overnight in central Washington.

This location is now called«Masters Inn & Healing Retreat». It’s conveniently located across from Soap Lake. The owner and her husband are extremely nice and very helpful. Upon booking our room for the night, she gave us some tips on local eateries and how late they would be open(as we came into town near 9pm), as well as the meaning behind soap lake and how to take full advantage of the healing powers that people come here for. If you haven’t heard, Soap Lake is believed to have healing powers both in the water and in the sand. Ideally, a person who needs to cleanse their body and/or spirit should wade into the middle of the lake. The lake is not deep and you can go all the way to the middle without the water coming over your shoulders. You’re supposed to take the water and splash it over you, then scoop down and grab clumps of sand near your feet then rub the sand/mud all over your body. Follow this last step with a final rinse of the Lake water and walk out a cleansed and centered being. My friend and I were on this road trip in an effort to «dry out» and believe you me, our stay at Masters was efficient and relaxing. There is a rule in the hotel that you have to rinse and store all dishes used but in contradiction, there were no sponges nor soap to be used for said cleaning. We had to ask the owners for the supplies but other wise our stay here was nice and relaxing. Don’t let the new name fool you! This is not a spa nor does it offer any type of massage or spa treatments. However, if you are here specifically for the Soap Lake experience I would definitely rec this hotel. We paid 70 $ for a night, including a 7 $ pet deposit for my black lab. The location is perfect, you can literally walk right across the street to the Lake and the owners are accommodating and insightful!
