The Connection

Nice enough place, but the bouncers need a serious adjustment. Just this past Saturday, one of my mates was dancing on stage. The higher powers decided that he shouldn’t have been there. Instead of asking him to leave and giving him any chance to remove himself from the stage, two bouncers decided to bum rush him, tackle him off of the stage and into a wall. Seriously lucky that a dislocated shoulder was all that he suffered.
Every bouncer there should be fired, charges pressed, then entered into rehab for their raging meth addictions.

The Connection is Snowshoe’s all around nightclub, bar, dance club, music venue and sports bar all in one. It is located atop of the Shavers Centre, very conveniently located between the Village of Snowshoe and the rest of the sprawling condo complexes.
It is frequently the place to go meet locals and the younger set, although given the diversity of the offerings, the customers also are a diverse bunch, from thirty-​somethings discussing professional topics, to brash Eminem-​addicted boarders with freaky hair and pants hanging below their navels, to sometimes red-​necks fresh from changing the tires on their homes. Still, the beer flows, the crowd is congenial, and the pool tables are full. There is a large outdoor deck and balcony overlooking the ski area.
