I don’t know why this place has bad reviews, I live here and can’t ever get tired of their Philly cheese steak. I crave them in the off season, great place though! Food is cheap too, but the wait can take a bit so call ahead with bigger orders. Cash or check only.

Had passed by earlier in the day and asked what time they closed. We were told 8 pm. We rushed back that night, were there by 7:45 and the place was closed. Pretty annoyed to be told one thing only to discover another. But then again, judging by prior reviews, maybe they did us a favor…

I wanted soup and I wanted it quick. A Taste of Philly fits that bill. Asked the order person which was better, chicken noodle or chili? She said chili, so that was I had for a quick lunch. The chili was too salty. If it was made with less salt it would have been much better. For the rest of the afternoon, I was constantly thirsty.

I was overcharged. Delivery special on the menu was $ 22 and the delivery guy charged me $ 24.50 even though delivery was free. Pastore’s only takes cash, so you have no recourse once you get your screwed up order. I am so sick and tired of paying premium prices at places like this in resort areas. It’s the same story over and over. The food is mediocre, the service is awful and orders are prepared wrong 90+% of the time. Pastore’s is no different. This place would not survive in Philadelphia. I wish I could give Pastore’s zero stars. The girl on the phone who took my delivery order didn’t know what was on the menu. The order was prepared incorrect — both hoagies were prepared wrong. 1. Hoagies were not toasted as specifically requested 1. Mayo was on the ham hoagie instead of the Italian hoagie 2. Italian dressing was on the Italian hoagie even though I’d specifically requested to leave it off 3. Tomatoes were on the ham hoagie even though I was told the ham hoagie didn’t come with tomatoes and I specifically stated the ham hoagie was not to have tomatoes 4. Chips were described as «Sea Salt», not«Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper» which is what I got — yuck! The only thing they got correct were the two cans of Diet Coke. Avoid this place at all costs!

Terrible experience is an understatement. We ordered delivery and here are all the issues that we experienced: 1. Person taking the order had no idea what was on the menu 2. We requested for subs to be toasted — of course they forgot to! 3. I am allergic to tomatoes and we specifically stated no tomatoes on a hoagie — sub had tomatoes all over it — really! 4. Taste was terrible — I would rather eat mcdonalds! Avoid at all cost! I would rather eat ramen noodles then this!

Good value comfort foods. We haven’t tried the pizza but cheese steaks, sandwiches and salads are great.

Taste of Philly is a little hut right off the gondola in Snowmass mall that serves huge sandwiches, Philly cheesesteaks, pizza, breakfast burritos, coffee and more. My husband had a turkey bacon sandwich for around $ 10 that was one of the biggest I’ve ever seen. I think he was a little sick after eating the whole thing, though it looked delicious with lots of fresh veggies and pickled peppers on top. We swung by the next morning to grab $ 5 breakfast burritos where you can pick toppings from a list that included egg, bacon, ham, chorizo, onions, mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, American cheese, swiss, provolone, cheez whiz and tofu. I was sad I couldn’t get cheddar but my egg-bacon-mushroom-sauteed pepper-provolone masterpiece was still awesome. Fast and cheap. They also had pizza including by the slice and even calzones and stromboli. Perfect if you don’t want to deal with a sit-down meal.
