I had the andouille sausage which also came with bbq pork and slaw. It was great. The free draft with the Unilocal sign in helped wash it all down. Service was attentive. I would go back again.

Love it, love it, love it, the service was outstanding. After a long day of skiing cocktails really hit the spot. The manager was amazing. She made sure that my friends and I had everything we needed. We skied 8 days and 8 days after skiing we were at The Nest.

Great selection for appetizers and entrees; even the kiddos had some nice choices! Reasonable prices for the Aspen/Snowmass area. Short walk from the Snowmass Village but far enough away that we had the whole back deck to ourselves. Some of the most breathtaking views in the continental United States but heads up on the extra charges for the outdoor service.

I recently Vacationed in Snowmass. My family and I ate at the Nest, The food was outstanding, and the service was equally amazing! The manager took great care of us, I highly recomend this place to anyone looking for a great meal with a very cool, one of a kind atmosphere.

I was there. I saw you there. We had weiners. We liked the weiners. You might like the weiners, if you are someone who enjoys a good weiner from time to time. But then again, who doesn’t love weiners?

The flavors here were really good, but the sushi presentation leaves a lot to be desired. Unlike the photos on Unilocal, their sushi is not cut rolls but rather cone-shapes hand rolls not designed for sharing. Although fresh and tasty, my wife and I had to butcher the roll in order to share it between us. We also had the lettuce wraps with pork, which had very good flavor. They weren’t the best we’ve ever had but definitely tasty. However, they only came with three lettuce leaves which was not nearly enough for the amount of filling. The tempura fried avocado was really good and unique. We recommend this for sure! Service was pretty good but not as good as the other restaurant at the viceroy(eight k).

The nest just opened up the second day of our stay at the viceroy, and I wish it had opened sooner so I could have enjoyed the après ski here instead of the other blah places on the mountain. My wife and I just skied down assay hill to the side of the viceroy and ski valet put up our skis while we enjoyed the chef’s tasty sushi creations. I highly recommend the Texas roll. Instead of the beef I had them put in shrimp tempura. The fresh sushi by the fire in the cabana by the pool just makes your ski day more glorious. For all you skiers definitely go up to elk camp, which has tons of fresh powder and if you’re lucky the sun comes out to say hello occasionally.

This is a review of The Nest Restaurant at the Viceroy Hotel in Snowmass. They are clearly working out the kinks at this joint. Extremely slow service(it took an hour for them to serve our sandwiches at lunch), the space is not well suited for skiers coming in off the mountain for lunch; the seating is cramped(especially for skiers in bulky clothes). Lastly, there is nothing on the menu for children, which seems like a huge oversight given that the restaurant is just off Assay Hill, which is mostly skied by youngsters. I recommend you stick with the restaurants on the mountain, like Ulr Haus and High Alpine. Also, expensive for what it is.
