Adorable. Chill. Relaxing. Eclectic. Friendly people and staff, excellent food options, outdoor seating areas(covered and uncovered), good coffee, beers on tap. This place seriously has it all. But it’s all very understated and relaxed. I always look forward to days when I get to visit the Bindlestick!

It’s so unique, the décor is from local artists and they seem to always be selling hats and mittens there. The drinks are absolutely to die for, just as unique as the place itself. They serve your regular vanilla latte but they also have some crazy yet delicious coffee. There’s a small sitting area behind the main building and is absolutely fantastic to sit, drink coffee and read a good book. Their sandwiches are equally as good as their drinks, they don’t skimp out on the meat and veggies. If you’re in downtown Snoqualmie, definitely come here!

Review: Bindlestick Coffeehouse and Bar Excellent Food, friendly, laid back service, charming and Sno Valley hipster location. Beautifully located just next to the Snoqualmie River, across the street from public park access. Very relaxing with an outdoor casual area where you can actually enjoy a cup of espresso, coffee, or alcoholic beverages such as beer and cider with a cigarette! I got so excited, I jumped over the Bindlestick in the video and called it the Candlestick instead. Perhaps a Freudian slip? 5 stars on my 3rd or 4th visit… As long as you are in the mood for a relaxed and low-keyed small town Bohemian experience with sandwiches to write to Facebook about, then definately stop by! After giving a terrible review to a breakfast this morning, coming here for lunch was delightful. The sandwich combos are unique and I loved the combination in my turkey sandwich. The beer possibilities are also unique. One option was from a small Oregon coast brewery not far from our beach house. Great brew. I had the server select my beer. It was a great choice. Some of the reviews are weird. People complain that town people go there. Do they prefer going to a place where town people, who best know where to go, don’t go?

Love this cute little bar/coffee shop. Whenever we have friends in town we are sure to bring them down here. Outdoor seating is nice, and dogs are allowed back there which is cool. Great prices on beer– also had the hummus plate once and it was delicious.

I will never go back to this place. The barista was very unprofessional. I asked her about a type of drink on the menu and about a flavor I hadn’t heard of before(almond mocha). Her responses were rude and had a little too much attitude. I ordered a 12oz white mocha. She told me, «I’m going to put this in a 16oz cup because we don’t have any 12oz and I’m too lazy to get any. I’ve been lazy all day.» The whole experience was painful to experience. The coffee wasn’t half bad, but as long as she works there, I won’t be back.

At first we were confused by the«coffee and beer bar» concept, but if you want a good Italian soda or latte in Snoqualmie, it’s the Bindlestick or bust. We went three times with a local friend(Dan) who is a true regular there(he has is own mug there!). It was nice to be greeted like we were visiting a friend’s place each time we entered. The woman working with the adorable new puppy who also does some of the art work on the walls was SUPER nice and really made us feel at home with her friends, family, and other guests all hanging out in the beer garden. If we lived in town, my husband and I would definitely hang out there all the time.

Their hours state that they open at 8am on Saturdays. Last Saturday, 7÷26÷14, we waited from 7:55 to 8:20am then we left because the doors were still locked and nobody could be seen inside.

It’s a beautiful day and you’ve been walking around downtown Snoqualmie. A beer sounds fantastic! This is where you should go! Situated across from the railroad museum, is a quaint little bar called The Bindlestick. They have a few craft brews on tap and some bottles in a small fridge. The inside is dark, but in an inviting and relaxing town-pub sort of way. There is mis-matched patio seating outside, which gives you the feeling that you’re chillin’ in a friend’s backyard, more-so than sitting on a bar patio. I liked the relaxed atmosphere and the fact that everyone there seemed ultra-friendly and acted like they were long-time amigos. They are dog-friendly, accept credit cards, and very generous with sample tastings. The beer is a perfect temperature and beer from the tap is served in a cold pint glass. Give it a swig!

This isn’t a business. It’s a clubhouse and some members don’t take to outsiders. I suggest you try SnoValley Coffee instead

I usually make it into The Bindlestick a few times a year. For the most part, it’s been pretty good. It’s a cute little place with a nice comfy atmosphere. It’s a bit tight around the back counter — where you have to order — so it can be a bit crowded if there are more than a couple people waiting for orders. it’s not a deal breaker, but it could be exacerbated by the sluggish service. But I’m getting ahead of myself. So I dropped in Saturday morning to order drinks for my wife and me. Mocha and Americano, respectively. I did notice that the Barrista seemed to focus on one thing at a time — not much multitasking going on. Rather than getting started on both drinks, she did them completely consecutively. But that wasn’t a big deal. The big deal is that the drinks were awful. My wife tasted her mocha first & remarked that it tasted like the shots were sour. Sure enough, my Americano was the same. It had a very muddy, sour flavor. Neither of them was worth drinking. I’m leaving it at three stars because I’ve been there when it’s been better, and I like to support the small coffee shops. But I hope this isn’t an indication of a downhill trend. There are other good coffee shops around that valley that are consistently good(albeit not in Snoqualmie), so it’s not a big sacrifice.

My family and I we’re craving a latte on a quiet Sunday here after riding the Snoqualmie train. This is a small coffee house and a little awkward of a layout. The barista lacked customer service and the coffee wasn’t the best. I stopped here because I’m lactose intolerant and I read they had alternative milk options. Next time I’m up this way, I will try elsewhere.

Stopped in to grab a cup of coffee and catch up with a friend. The atmosphere was fun/casual and the coffee wasn’t bad. Unfortunately, NOTHING drives me more nuts that when a coffee place cannot multi-task. We waited while each drink was made to order and handed out. Why not see what the next person behind them is having and steam the milk altogether? She couldn’t even take both OUR drink orders at the same time. One at at time… good luck with that… I am going to pass

My daughter and I go into the Bindlestick as a special treat whenever the opportunity arises. It’s a little hole in the wall place that has a local, artsy vibe. There is even art for sale on the wall by local high school students/artists. They offer coffee drinks, alcoholic beverages, food, etc. My daughter is a big fan of the spinach and ham breakfast croissant. I like how friendly the owner is and how it feels like a local hang out for people of all ages. Brings to mind the Cheers theme song… «You wanna be where you can see, people are all the same. You wanna go where everybody knows your name.»

Small and intimate with a full range of drinks to enjoy. I ordered a chai latte which I enjoyed. Great place to go with a friend or two, but not set up for large groups which isn’t a bad thing unless you go when the weather is good. Then you can hang out int he back area. Also, not really set up for family place which for single ladies like my friend and I, was a welcomed breather. I wish I hadn’t gone after i had lunch and beers at another place because I would have loved to just hang there for a bit. Their beer list was good too. Oh well, maybe next time.

Great coffee, nice cozy«local shop» feel. They have beer, wine, and coffee(from roaster Caffe Vita). My drink was a «Divinity»(white chocolate with toasted marshmallow). They even have a small«bar» you can sit at while enjoying your beverage.

WORST coffee shop ever! I am used to getting sweet White chocolate mochas on ice and the woman who served me mentioned to me after she makes my drink and it tastes HORRIBLE that she not only hasn’t really made them but never even drank one! How are you even a BARISTA?! I politely asked her to add some white chocolate(which keep in mind in was the powder kind that you are suppose to mix in with the hot shots to melt it), add she only added a tiny little bit. On top of this I was the only one in there and it was STILL Super slow service… wonder what would happen if a group of people walked in. ? I would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone… :(

Although I frequent many coffee shops/cafes, I’m not really a coffee drinker, per se. I usually get iced tea, hot chocolate, or some other coffee alternative. Every once in a while I’ll get a latte/mocha but still not on a frequent basis. Luckily, I was able to stumble upon this small, non-chain coffee shop in Snoqualmie so that I could actually experience a good cup of caffeinated beverage. The barista at The Bindlestick(pretty cool, original name) was very friendly, helpful, and talented. She quickly worked up my order, The Polar Bear: black and white mocha, crème de menthe, and Irish cream. Dude, it was a pretty tasty drink. The other orders in my party seemed to be equally delicious and it was a unanimous decision that this was one little coffee establishment to be reckoned with. So, here’s what I recommend. On a nice, sunny day after you check out Snoqualmie Falls nearby, drop by this quaint hole-in-the wall(it is small) and check out their original menu on the blackboard. Order up one of those concoctions and enjoy your delicious drink while you stroll along the shops right outside. And yes, I’ll be back!
