One of the best sub sandwiches I’ve ever eaten! The homemade bread, thinly sliced meats with just the right amount of everything included. I would recommend them, highly!

FRESH& homemade! Everything is made to order from scratch. Everything tastes amazing! No dietary restrictions: True east coast style subs. The cheesesteak was so flavorful. The bread was fresh and soft. The Italian sub was the best in Seattle. Gluten free vegetarian: The gluten free bread is amazing! The veggie sandwich with mayo only is superb! Ohhh and did I mention the homemade baked goods? Yes! Home made cookies, muffins, and brownies(regular and gluten free)! We live in Seattle and will return often!

Amazing. Seriously, we randomly came here when hiking in the area b/c my girlfriend is gluten intolerant. Best sub I’ve had on the west coast. My son got the philly, again amazing. I read the Heather S. review above and I’m not quite sure what she’s talking about. Rose was AMAZING. She made our food from scratch. It wasn’t pre-packages soylent green like most places. We’ll be back soon.

We had the chicken fingers with fries and a turkey/provolone/lettuce/tomato sandwich. For what this place is it was decent. My husband liked his chicken fingers but said there wasn’t anything special about them & it’s hard to mess chicken fingers up. The strips came with about a pound of fries. The turkey on my sandwich had a great flavor and the meat and vegetables were fresh. My main complaint is that there were only three thin slices of turkey, the bread made up 2⁄3 of the sandwich and was flavorless and dry. Having a different bread and putting more non-carb substance in the sandwich would make all the difference. I ended up re-doing the sandwich on half the bread and it was better ratios and therefore actually had flavor. I probably would have given a third star had the service been more friendly, but given the place was cluttered & disorganized and the bathrooms weren’t super well kept two stars is the best I can do. The signage needs cleaned up and re-done, and better instructions on options available to build your sandwich would have been helpful. When we walked it we were overwhelmed with the mess and lack of clarity on how/what to order.

If you have gluten or dairy allergies GOHERE. She makes her own gluten free bread. They also have a great breakfast. Even if you don’t have allergies they make great food, so I highly recommend them.

Visited The Ridge while staying in the area for several weeks babysitting my grandchildren. Rose made me and my grandson feel very welcomed and the food was so very good. Her gluten-free blueberry muffins are to die for… Love, love, loved them!!! Thank you Rose for feeding and taking care of me and Whit and for making us feel so welcomed!

Rose makes everything from scratch and she’s really good at it. The chicken noodle soup has thick noodles, chunky carrots and big pieces of chicken. Soooo yummy! The deli sandwiches that we ordered were great too. Nice bread, great ingredients. Staff was really friendly and attentive. It was a nice stop for lunch after visiting the falls. Desserts were not as impressive as everything else, but still tasty.

Rose is quick to tell you how her roast need is done right and she’s right. The roast beef is super thins sliced and tasty. Glad we visited here before the Snoqualmie falls. Which is only minutes away, for anyone looking to grab a bite before a hike

Awesome food! My daughters, my husband and I stopped in to get a bite to eat after visiting the falls. We ordered three sandwiches(hot beef pastrami, the Rose club, and tuna), a corn dog, and chicken tenders. It was all FANTASTIC!!! I tried all three sandwiches and the fries and they were all delicious. The sandwiches are on fresh, home-made bread, the meat looked lean and very high quality and the veggies were fresh. My husband had a mint shake that he said was the best he’s ever had in his life(and he’s had a few, so that says something!) and my daughters loved their shakes as well. Although I’m on a diet(yeah, right) and resisted the milkshake, I couldn’t help but order dessert — a cookie and a brownie to share. Both were home-made and delicious. The proprietor(Rose) takes pride in the food she serves and it really shows. There was an assortment of gluten free baked goods as well, all home-made by Rose herself. We tried her new gluten free and regular waffle cones and they were all delicious. Rose was very welcoming and super friendly to all of us. I was amazed at how quickly she and her assistant prepared all of our food. We are already planning other trips that will take us through Snoqualmie so that we can go back to the Rose Ridge Café & Deli.

We needed a bathroom and food on the way through town and Rose Ridge looked kid friendly and had outdoor seating for our dog. We’re so glad we stopped in! The owner is a sweetheart, the food was all fresh cooked and homemade, and everything tasted great. We will be back next time we’re in town!

Terrible is too delicate a word. The owner, Rose has to be one of the rudest, most unpleasant people I’ve ever encountered. You can taste it in the food. She was very rude to her staff and then she shoved a cup at me and demanded I get her ice – not even a please… never mind I was a CUSTOMER. I ordered chicken noodle soup. The chicken looked like guts and the broth was a greasy mess. Inedible! To sum it up: lousy food served up by mean woman.

Horrible place to eat! Ordered the roast beef sandwich, and was not impressed at all. Bread was flat, lettuce seemed old, and the bread looked like it had been split in half using a chain saw. The place is small and cluttered and the people working were arguing in front of me. I don’t understand why people come here. Do yourself a favor and go find a subway.

We went out of our way to go to this sandwich shop thinking it would be a cozy family-owned restaurant(much preferred over sub chains like Subway!!!), but there was nothing welcoming about this place. The second we walked in we felt uncomfortable. Whoever designed this space does not have a visual eye. The seating area is very narrow, not much room to dine. The bar stools are in the way of ordering. The place is visually cluttered, which gives it a dirty, unkept look. It was hard to find all that was sold, for what price, what size, and with what ingredients, because everything is listed or displayed all over the place. We went in for a bread bowl and specific sandwiches, but they were out! The food was mediocre. Stale bread, brown avocado spread, mushy, limp veggies. The tomato basil soup was better but missing the bread bowl we specifically went in for. The person who runs the place, Rose(?), was very moody, helping someone else at the same time as us, which meant we had to repeat ourselves several times, yell over the blender, and talk while she was busy doing something else and had her back to us. Questions that we asked seemed like an imposition to her, and she had something to complain about after each question(low on help, hired people who can’t deliver, broken oven, latest food delivery was bad quality, opinions don’t matter to boss, etc…). So we paid, left, and unfortunately will not be going back.

Coming from Pennsylvania I was craving a good cheesesteak. Their cheesesteak blew every Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had out of the water. They cook it right after you order so expect to wait a couple of minutes. They also use a spice blend that made it fantastic and my sandwich weighed well over 2 pounds. I see many people have complained about the owner but I found her just fine to talk to. She has a passion for food in a more east coast manner and tone. I think Seattle people just aren’t quite used to that. Overall I was pleased with my experience there and am happy to have found a place that knows how to make a cheesesteak right.

Our sandwiches were excellent, and ENORMOUS. Friendly service counts for a lot, too.
