My daughters, now teenagers, have danced with Pac West since they were three. I have seen instructors and students come and go and I can honestly say that one of the best qualities of this studio is the consistency and level of professionalism of the Studio Director and staff.
There are classes for all disciplines and all levels and the director remains sensitive to the needs of the students. They have great classes for the little itty-​bitties, kick-​ass tap for all ages, hip hop for teens, plus cheer workshops and even awesome belly dancing for adults! The instructors really care about the students, too. More importantly, they make it fun — which, after all, is what it’s all about.

My daughter has been dancing at PacWest for about four years and she loves it. The instructors have really inspired her interest in dance as forms of both exercise and expression. I enjoy the recitals because all of the dancers, regardless of age or dance style, are all having so much fun.
There are many options for classes. Indeed every session my daughter has interest in more classes than we can possibly enroll in.

My daughter danced here for 5 years. The lobby is out of control with parents talking about children in a negative manner while children are present. This took place for the whole of the last year we were there and the owner did nothing to fix the problem. My child was bullied by a parent and her child and nothing was done to help. We more than once asked the director to go to the parents and stop the harassment. The parent and child were allowed to dance without any repercussions. At the time of our leaving they were still dancing there.
The teachers are very good at what they do but the owner is not onsite enough to control the studio and what takes place there. She is not approachable and becomes defensive if you come to her with a concern. She has been known to argue with parents in front of other parents. She more than once has made fun of the «small town mentality» of those who live in Snohomish. She tends to cater to those that spend more money on classes having heard her say more than once she needs to make sure she eats. I use to recommend this studio all the time but I can no longer do so with a good conscience.

I’m amazed at the level of professionalism and true talent the instructors and staff possess. Pacific West is the perfect blend of instruction and enjoyment. From Hip Hop to Pointe, my girls have learned it all. This is the type of studio that caters to all levels of ability, from beginner to experienced. The instructors are great and seem to bring out the best in each student.
