GrayStone Stables & Equestrian Center

This is the third riding center that I have tried and I am so happy to have finally found my place! I am a 37 year old with not a ton of riding experience and just wanted to ride for the pleasure of riding. I was looking for a mental, physical, and emotional challenge through horseback riding and I feel Graystone Stables is the place that allows me to be the best rider I can be.
My instructor, Celeste, is very patient and encouraging. I was not being challenged at the previous stables that I tried and I’m so grateful to be pushed to try new things each lesson with Celeste. She is full of knowledge and expertise and she is able to explain things in a way that is easy to understand and things are just falling into place. I learn so much each session and have so much fun!
I also absolutely love my lesson horse, Jewel. She is a sweet and fun quarter horse that loves to canter! She is trustworthy and a total joy to ride.
The facilities at Graystone are top notch and beautiful and I’m always seeing Lisa, the owner, working with the horses and she is always immersed in the goings on of her stables. Everyone is friendly and it feels like a great community. I’m looking forward to many years of riding at Graystone Stables.

I can’t say enough good things about Graystone Stables. Chris Uyyek is the most amazing riding instructor and Lisa Eagley, the barn owner, clearly chooses her instructors with the utmost care. I went in a little scarred from strange experiences volunteering at horse rescues and was treated with respect and care. I have been riding most every Sunday since October 2014 and can now safely control a 1,200 lb. horse as well as have a great joy doing it. Everyone is very supportive and encouraging of each other’s learning journey. Over time I have been paired with various lesson horses to determine the best fit. This is a great idea as it takes time to know what both horse and rider need. Highly recommend!

After contacting groupon i received a response. I had an enjoyable time learning to ride a horse. Horses are well taken care of. I hope in the future they are more professional in responding to new clients.

I have been fortunate enough to call Graystone home for the last 6 years. Lisa and the Graystone staff have taken amazing care of my horses and her training is impressive. I have seen my young Hanoverian go from green broke to a competent competitor in the Dressage arena. In addition to the boarding and training I have found a supportive and active community of riders who have all become my second family! I love this barn!

I have boarded my horse here since 2007 and wouldn’t consider taking her anywhere else. I have been a client at several barns, and GrayStone Stables is the first barn where everyone who boards and rides here TRULY works together as a family. We are very welcoming and supportive of each-other’s learning process and journey to become better horse owners and riders. The Halloween party is the highlight of the year for most of our young clients … and many of the adults, too!
