Shanes of Snellville is a horrible location. It is high school senior skip day around there all the time. I called for take out 20 min before closing and was told that phone orders are done for the night but I may come in to place order. I got there at 949 pm and the door was locked and they ignored my knocking. SHEWASRIGHTTHEREATTHEREGISTERTAKINGOTHERORDERS. I like to think I understand wanting to go home but much more appreciate proper service. Ignorance is not necessary. Another couple of would be customers were also locked out and said they just locked the door right in front of us. Absolutely ridiculous. Business lost forever.

The food is OK, kind of commercialized. Electric smoke and it definitely affects the food in not such a good way. If you do decide to go try the pulled pork sandwich. They have pretty good service and I have yet to have a problem with them.

Don’t waste your time going here. Food was not very good it’s more of a Comercial taste. I ordered the pull pork and it was not shredded very well and had chunks of fat in it. The picture on the menu had coleslaw on it but it didn’t come with it found that out after the fact. My husband ordered the ribs he wasn’t happy he took them home and put them back in the oven. I won’t be going back.

They are awesome! The food was great and I was able to bring my service dog in training. They were very reasonable with price and were very helpful with getting me and the dog to the outdoor area I wanted to sit in. I wasn’t a big fan of the sauces, but hey, I can bring my own from home. Most importantly they were very helpful with my dog in training. Thanks Shane’s!

Shanes is awesome. This location has the best peach cobbler. The service is always good.

The food at Shane’s is great, and I eat at the Cleveland location quite often. This one however had me waiting over 45 minutes for a chicken tender sandwich. Pretty ridiculous in my opinion.

took my boy there and we ordered 2 Beef Brisket platters… VERYDISSAPOINTING! there were tree thin, about 1 inch wide, slices! Barely weighing in at 5OZ total !! At almost $ 12.00 per platter we got less than $ 2.00 worth of food in our baskets .Two very small sides of coleslaw and baked beans and a slice of toast… For that kind of money I can get two good meals at Applebees or Olive Garden ‚… and stuff myself with food drinks and dessert at the Golden Corral… Running a 15% food cost is NOT helping repeat business… Once stiffed like that people wont return !!

Shane’s is ok if you can’t get any real down home backyard BBQ. I usually get the rib sandwich which comes on toast. The sandwich is good and filling. A side of fries makes for a good meal. The portion size of fries is more than enough. The peach cobbler is ok. The crust isn’t good and flaky like Grandma’s but it satisfies the peach cobbler craving. The service is excellent.

Ribs, yeah, yum yeah. We got the sampler platter, too much food! The cole slaw was cold, the beans were steaming hot, the ribs came right off the bone and the BBQ chicken tenders were fab. My only disappointment was the pulled chicken. Even with the sauce, it was still dry… maybe even a little like cardboard. That won’t be enough to stop me from going back!

Um, do they manufacture amazing-looking high school girls in this town? They all look like models or something. To paraphrase my man Wooderson McConaughey, «See man, that’s why I like high school girls. I get older… they stay the same age…» Okay, now that that’s out of the way, I can focus on the pork. It’s good. It shouldn’t be this good for this price at this chain restaurant that’s owned by the same folks who own Moe’s, Doc Green’s, Mama Fu’s, Flying Biscuit, and god-knows-what else. But the pulled-pork sammy with coleslaw on it was juicy, delicious, just a hint of grease(mainly from a bit too much butter on my nice, thick Texas toast). The collards were nothing to write home about but they were tasty — and it’s easy to make shitty collards, folks. Mac’n’cheese standard fare, coleslaw average, fries crispy and not-overseasoned… but I really, really liked the sweet/spicy variety of the BBQ sauce. Plus, there’s rolls of paper towels on every table, and though you order up front, they’ll bring out your grub and also pick up your trash from your table just to save you the trouble! Prices for decent BBQ are way below the serious ‘Q places(Daddy-D’s, Maddy’s, Fat Matt’s, and especially Fox Bros.), but they deserve 4 stars for their niche in the wonderful world of smoky, sweet, tangy, juicy dead pigs. Oh… and very pretty high school girls… Yeah I know it’s creepy. But I can get away with it. I’m a giant friggin robot from outer-space. So shut up and stuff it; I ain’t talkin’ to ‘em in the parkin’ lot or nuthin. Optimus OUT.
