Mountain View Eye Associates

MountainView Eye Associates in Snellville is an awesome place to go for eye care. Their entire staff is friendly, helpful, and professional! Dr. Mahon is great when discussing your eye care and will take the time necessary to ensure all of your questions and concerns are answered completely. I have been going here for over five years and have had great care. Only once did I have a problem and even then it was corrected professionally and proficiently. I highly recommend MountainView Eye Associates in Snellville!

The clinical staff here is wonderful. The optician who prepared my son for the doctor was patient and very nice. Dr. Mahon had a good bedside manner, was thorough, and very nice. The office staff needs a little work. Two of the ladies who assist in choosing frames were bickering most of the time. Just not very professional. Also they don’t have a very big selection of frames, so I ended up having to go elsewhere for the frames. Overall, a nice, clean, friendly place. I would definitely go back for my son’s eye exam, but nothing else.

Dr. Mahon and staff are top notch! Our whole family sees them and we couldn’t be happier with the service and courtesy we receive!

I discovered I had pink eye on Wednesday so I called to make an appointment. The call was answered fast and was very professional. I had explained my issue and she got me in the same day within a couple hours. When I arrived I was greeted and was seen right away. I actually expected to be waiting a while and had brought my on reading material because I was being worked in. I had a series of exams and finally met the doctor. He was very professional and understanding. Dr Mahon was very thorough. He was very considerate of my out of pocket costs even with the pharmacy and I thought that was very nice. Most doctors don’t know anything about pharmacy costs. I definitely be good back and referring others. Thank you again to Dr Mahon and staff! I wish I could give 10 stars!

The staff is very friendly and capable, and Dr. Mahon is really nice and doesn’t rush through his exam. I feel like he actually cares about my eye health and doing what’s best to maintain my vision. I would definitely recommend them over any national chain (i.e.: Visionworks. Stay away from them, they are horrible!)

All of the staff at Mountainview are always so pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable! Dr. Mahon is always very patient and attentive and explains all of his findings in a clear and easy to understand manner. He never rushes the patient and his goal is always for you to be able to see the best possible. The staff that assisted with glasses was also very patient. She helped by giving her opinion of what she liked and didn’t like about each set of frames and she was very supportive and helpful. The reception staff are also very friendly and welcoming! Just a great experience overall!!!

Dr. Mahon has been our family eye doctor for over a year now for the 4 of us. It is always a pleasure to go there, and with 4 of us in glasses and/​or contacts, we are in quite a bit. From the front office to the optical staff (Arianne & Ramona), they are always cheerful and welcoming and kind. I am especially impressed with how good Dr. Mahon is with our special needs kiddo; lots of patience and just really great with him. It is always heart warming when people are so kind to him. Dr. Mahon is also very thorough and has state of the art equipment.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr Mahon and his staff. I had never been to an eye doctor before so needless to say I was quite nervous. The minute I walked in the office, the ladies at the front desk made me feel so welcomed. Dr Mahon took his time with me and detailed specific answers to any and all of my questions. He made me feel at ease. Ramona was the best at helping me decide the right frame for my first pair of glasses. She is very knowledgeable and patient (as I tried on so many). And the staff was just as wonderful and helpful when I picked up my glasses. I highly recommend this practice.
