I think this may be the most unorganized and cluttered Kroger that I have ever been to. The layout is horrible and even the parking lot is chaotic.

I stopped in at this Kroger because I was in the neighborhood and there is a possibility I might be moving to the area. So, wanted to check it out. Let me just say… oh hell no! First, the staff were nice, the store didn’t seem too unclean(for a Kroger), produce looked ok but the meat! I have never in my life seen a grocery store with so much gray colored meat and«managers special» labels on just about everything! Who buys gray meat?! Is this legal? When I see meat like this I think the only people who must be able to digest this kind of stuff has to be people who eat road kill. Seriously? I see I will be traveling outside the area to do my shopping.

I stopped by this Kroger on my way to work this morning. Quite frankly, this Kroger is terrible. When you walk in, the aisles look nothing like they do at any other Kroger. In fact, when you walk in all you see are cash registers and then one big shelf of stuff in your way. The aisles are parallel to the front wall of the building so you cannot see jack crap around the store. Everything seems to be out of place at this Kroger. You can tell they pumped some money into remodeling the store. Even though I never saw the«before», I am quite sure the«after» is one of the worst Kroger stores in the nation. On top of that, of the few items I was looking for, I was unable to find some of them and did not have time trying to navigate a store that is set up like no other Kroger I have ever been in. The entire reason that chain store franchises have success is because the people are familiar with things. When you have a location that is totally different than all other locations, you cannot expect people to like it. This Kroger is an Epic Fail.

While standing second in line to check out with a cart full of groceries, a black Kroger emoplee yelled out to a black woman just arriving in the checkout area to come to a closed lane, which she opened and checked only her out. I was in the lane next to her, and could hear their conversation. It was apparent to me and the person now waiting behind me(third in our lane) that they did not know each other prior to this obviously race related preferential treatment. Good thing there is a very nice Ingles and Publix nearby for me to now transition my shopping.

So this is the Kroger that my husband and I refer to as dumpy Kroger. Even after a renovation last year, this place is still not as clean or bright as it could be. The staff is apathetic and uninterested. This location is literally about a ½ mile from where I live, but I still drive farther to go elsewhere. The only time I shop this Kroger is when I need something really quick.
