Wellstar Medical Group Pediatric & Adolescent Center

We’ve been coming here since 2007. I think all of the doctors are good with the kids and good doctors. I like the office staff as well. There is another office, but I preferred this one. They do a really good job of squeezing last-​minute sick appointments. I also really like that they have separate waiting rooms for sick appointments and well appointments. There is plenty of free parking that is right outside of the front door. I feel like we do most of our waiting in the waiting room out front, which I prefer since they play kids movies. Once you are brought back to your room, I feel like the appointment goes really fast. Most of the time I pay and take care of everything upfront so as soon as we are done with the doctor we can leave.

We are so pleased to have found Wellstar Pediatric Group in Smyrna. I was nervous about choosing a Pediatrician for our first child and asked several friends and my OB for recommendations. All of the doctors that I was referred to were in either in Midtown or near Northside Hospital. The thought of having to drive more than 20 minutes in with a sick or injured child made me nervous and I really wanted an option closer to home. So happy that we found Wellstar! After reading about Dr. Beckford online (she is the chief pediatrics officer for Wellstar) we decided that we wanted her as our Pediatrician. After my son was born, I called to schedule our first appointment and Dr. Beckford was all booked up. I was nervous when they assigned us to another doctor, but we absolutely love Dr. Combes and her nurse Victor. Over the last 6 months we have built a great relationship with our doctor and trust her immensely! The facility itself is immaculate and beautiful, the staff is friendly, and I have never had any issues getting an appointment (even same day appointments!) I hope other parents in the Smyrna area will find this review helpful and know that there is no need to drive all over town to find a good Pediatrician!
