The food is mediocre. The cheese dip with jalapeños was mild. The salsa was generic and not very flavorful. I had the La Favorita which half of it was yummy and the other half was covered in tomato soup vs. the traditional red sauce you find in other mexican restaurants. service was very good.

A great standard for consistently good Mexican food. I usually have the combo enchiladas which are always good. The service is typically quick and it’s a ‘joint’ type of atmosphere which is a great thing. I would recommend Los Bravos for middle of the road Mexican in the Smyrna area. Give it a shot!

The food here is good, but that’s if you can get it without: *waiting over 20 minutes to be seated when there’s no one in the restaurant… only to… *wait another 1 ½ hours to get the order they forgot to make *and then it is cold… I’ve ordered takeout from them a few times and they have told me they don’t have menu items that I have actually ordered there before, the food was cold when we got it, etc.

Los Bravos is one of my favorite places for a good Mexican meal. I always enjoy coming here because the drinks and food are so reasonably priced. Our waitress Stephanie was so sweet and didn’t rush us to leave her section once we were done eating. I love going to a restaurant and having great customer service every single time I visit. I usually get the fancy shrimp and chicken quesadilla but decided to get the shrimp and chicken fajita nachos and they came out sizzling… cheesy…full of flavorful chicken and shrimp… my stomach was super happy. The mango margarita was really good too. Another great experience.

I’ve been here a few timrs for lunch with co-workers. The food is great, I always get the chicken fajita quesidilla, and prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly, I’ve never had to wait for a table, and my food is delivered quickly. I always leave here happy. I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because there isn’t anything extraordinary about this restaurant that makes it stand above other Mexican restaurants I’ve been to.

Great queso, chips are a little plain but salt helps! Margaritas are priced nicely and they have many large sizes of glasses!

As far as Americanized Mexican restaurants it’s «ok». Over they years, I have sourced out authentic Mexican cuisine, so resorting back to one of these restaurants is a bit challenging. We visited on a Friday evening and. good grief I felt like I was in a Toys R’ Us on Christmas eve. Kids everywhere, families everywhere– the place was packed. Even so, the waiter was nice and accommodating, but the atmosphere was rushed and loud. This is clearly a family restaurant– which is fine, but sometimes it is nice to have a quiet and relaxed dinner. The food is the run of the mill Mexican food. Free chips and salsa come with the meal and they of course will re fill and refill until you pass out from eating them I had a chicken enchilada and a beef enchilada with rice and beans and a beef taco. The beef is, ground beef, not shredded which I prefer. Nothing special about the flavoring at all… again, typical. The chicken enchilada on the other hand was stuffed full of tasty chicken. The meal was not bad… the rice was dry as dry can be and the refried beans were– refried beans. All in all the meal was decent, typical and nothing really special– it was Americanized Mexican Food. Not much else to say. Would I rush back? Nah. But it will do in a pinch.

At dinner time, this restaurant us usually packed with families with kids running about. It’s clearly a popular spot for families after a baseball or soccer game. The food is average at best and service is horrible. We gave up on it after trying it 4 – 6 times in the past year. We kept thinking… one more try. Maybe they’ll improve. They didn’t and we haven’t been back.

Some bad reviews, but this is a popular place and it’s cheap. I love the salsa, not too hot but very vinegary. I love the food here, pure comfort food. Not gourmet. Once you figure out what you like stick with it. The lunch special chicken soup has large bits of avocado and shredded chicken. The shrimp salad is super great tons of cheese, avocado, tasty grilled shrimp. Severs are very friendly.

This is one of the worst Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been. The food is bland and has no kind of taste to it. I’ve been here a few times and I’ve tried tacos, burritos, enchiladas and they all taste the same, bland! The atmosphere is okay and the staff is nice enough but I just a can’t get over how the food has no taste! Even though this is the closest Mexican restaurant to my house I will not be going again. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!

I’ve come to this Los Bravos multiple times and for the last two visits the service has been terrible. There were several people who arrived after us yet received their meals before us. Our waiter came as frequently as the Olympics. More than likely, we will not return.

We have been coming here for years. The service is fast, the food is the typical, the prices are very good. Allot of families come with lots of children, we come before or after the large crowds. With the $ 5 /$ 3 coupons on Kroger receipts it’s a good deal and a quick meal. Not the most authentic or the best, but it works.

You know what you’re getting at a «suburban Mexican» place, which is the general category I put this restaurant. Cheap food, comes out fast, some cheap beers, standard salsa– you know the drill. Lunch fajitas are a good option, only 7.75 and pretty flavorful. The steak tacos with tomatillo sauce are probably the best thing on the menu. Steer clear of the tamale. Who puts sour cream on top of a tamale? Gross.

They have a wide assortment of mexican dishes and a full service bar. It must be great for kids because there always a lot of parents with children drinking beer and margaritas.

Terrible customer service. First of all, it was a snow day. So service was slow and there was no need for our food to take 30 minutes to be cooked when we are your only customers. You are lucky I even walked in especially with the vomit still in the front parking space. Then the waiter and owner were seriously rude. I found a piece of foil in the chicken I was eating. I brought to the waiters attention and his response was«what do you want me to do?» I’m the customer, not the manager. You tell me what YOU are going to do to fix it. Since he offered no solutions, I said«just give me a discount and we’ll forget about it.» Then when I was paying, the cashier/owner said we can’t take a card for a charge less than $ 5. Wait, my meal was discounted because you messed up and now you can’t run the card because my $ 7 meal was discounted too low? How is that the customers problem? If you are looking for service, don’t eat here!

We came on a weekday night and margarita was $ 2.50 each. NICE! Although it wasnt too great of a margarita, it is acceptable. Food was also pretty good. I had the chimichanga and that other half of it was a salt bomb. But the other half was pretty good. Chicken Quesadilla was also good. Chips and salsa pretty okay although I must say that I would recommend some fresher herbs in there, some cilantro maybe? Our friends had the combo fajitas and looked delicious. The décor is very interesting, and this place is huge. The menu is also huge so it may take you a while to get it together. But all in all, I say this place is a-okay.

These idiots don’t know how reservations work. Also they don’t have a manager on duty on Saturday night? –2 /10.

The food is kind of bland and the steak fajitas are a little too chewy. I think the only thing I like is the«free» margarita for your birthday, and that might be the only good drink they have here of course. Also service is a little slow and not too friendly

I have officially found a new Mexican spot. The margaritas on point! They serve complimentary chips and salsa… fresh chips and the salsa had a little kick to it. This is my 2nd visit and the service is spot on.

Great place to eat and drink. But tonight bartender a little slow. Have to give my drink order three times and did not get silverware prior to getting my mesl. However he, Cabo, made up for it by giving me another drink with less ice. Which is nice. Glad I stopped he on my way to another event.
