I was reffered here from a co-worker as we were getting sushi delivered to work. The quality of food wasn’t a game changer by any means BUT wasn’t bad. It seems like a safe call but you won’t find anything amazing here. The main reason I dropped a 4 star here is because it took about 1 ½ hours to deliver the food.

Really good food! Love the fried rice and egg foo young! The wonton soup could use some work but other than that this is my go to spot for Chinese food on Smyrna!

Hi my name is Bethany, and I have a Chinese food addiction… My husband and I have been on the hunt for our new go-to Chinese food takeout place, and I believe we have found it. The kicker for us is the mei fun. Are there too many noodles and not enough goodies? Is it bland? Is it watery? Not at Great Wall, it is perfectly delicious. The menu is your standard fare, and nothing else really sets my hair on fire but Great Wall gets the job done.

Quite possibly the best, least expensive Chinese take-out in the area. Definitely the best shrimp egg rolls, hands down.

After visiting the post office located just a few shops down, I decided to finally try this Chinese restaurant which I had seen every time I went to the post office. It was lunch hour, so I ordered the following 1. Mongolian Beef w/White Rice 2. Sesame Chicken w/Fried Rice(for my husband) (Both the above orders came with Egg Drop Soup) 3. Fried Chicken Wings(8) This is without doubt the worst Chinese food I have ever had and I have been eating in the Atlanta area for over 20 years. My Mongolian Beef came with virtually no meat, stocked up with onions. My husband’s Sesame Chicken had small, unedible, hard pieces. Half of the pieces were hard and unedible, so they were thrown out by my husband. Overall, both entrees were terrible. The soup was very flavorless, and tasted like water. The wings were very small, and not worth the $ 4+ that I paid for it. The Restaurant itself was pretty small, with a few tables where I could sit down so I could wait for my order. It didn’t take that long; service was prompt. The kitchen looked untidy. The order taker was pleasant, but she had trouble understanding my request of extra sauce on the Mongolian Beef. No extra sauce was added to the Mongolian Beef. I will never eat here again or recommend this place to anyone due to the terrible quality of the food, and the lack of ability of the cashier to understand me.

I get food to go here often as it is only a couple of doors down from the closest post office near my office. I go in and order and then pay, then I walk next door to the post office where the wait in the line is usually 10 to 15 minutes long. When I am done with my post office business, my takeout order is ready. There are two to three tables inside GWCR if one is inclined to eat on site; however, business is almost exclusively takeout. Delivery I am told is not an available option. The food here is solid, often excellent. The restaurant appears to be family owned and operated. i am told the place is run by a nice, honest mom-and-pop Asian family. The parents English isn’t great but they do seem to understand what you tell them. The Moo Goo Gai Pan lunch combo plate that I usually order here is much better than you get at other small Chinese takeout places; it’s fresher and more plentiful. The garlic scallops lunch combo plate is also quite good. The soups aren’t outstanding, but are pretty solid none-the-less. This place does not skimp on portions. I hear the wings are the popular thing to get and that there are several flavors to choose from. Lunch combination plates are 5 bucks and change and include fried(or steamed) rice and choice of soup(egg drop, wonton, hot and sour) or egg roll. I almost always opt for the egg roll. My office is about 5 miles away. Again, delivery isn’t an option; only take out. My trip to this place(including my post office business portion) and back to the office usually takes 30 to forty minutes. NOTE: Closed on Mondays. I learned this the hard way. And the post office was busier than usual that day. So don’t go on a Monday!

Tasty local Chinese takeout at its best! Every experience has been a positive one. I really love the food, and order from here frequently. I’ve only had a few of their items though because I’m so hooked on certain ones that I don’t want to vary! Each meal is made-to-order per your instructions… they listen well and honor specific requests. The restaurant is family owned and operated, always has been, by a nice honest family. The adults English isn’t well spoken but they do understand you perfectly every time. My mother’s MSG sensitive and thinks the food contains MSG, but I personally don’t believe it does. The seafood ordered here is much better than you get at other small Chinese takeout places — it’s fresher, plentiful and larger. The soups aren’t outstanding, they’re pretty standard, as are rice and noodles. They don’t scrimp on portions, so no half empty plates will ever be served. Their wings are really popular with other customers, there are 8 – 10 flavors available. Lunch combination plates are $ 5.25 and include fried(or steamed) rice and soup choice. Dinner combination plates start at about $ 6.50. I live 1.5 miles away, I call in my order before I grab my jacket and keys, and my food is being bagged for Me when I walk in their door. Delivery isn’t an option sadly. Only take out here, or you can sit at one of their 3 indoor tables if you’re inclined to eat and run on the spot. I really wish they had a drive-thru window! For delicious Chinese food on the run, you have to try this place!

Their food isn’t too good, but their won ton soup rocks! Every time I get a cold or if I’m in the mood for soup, I have to get my won ton fix. Inexpensive too…3 quarts for about $ 7.00.

Small place, located in a strip mall is only for Take-out. They do have 2 – 3 tables but given they really needed a once-over with a towel– I suppose most people just sit there to wait for their food. On the upside– this place has a huge variety of dishes available and the Dinner deals are a real bargain. It is also cooked to order while you wait. You can get in an out of there in a hurry. As for the food… it is completely average. The fried rice tasted like the oil was a little old and the sauces are a little flat. If you are starving, only have a minute to get food, and need an affordable meal, fast– this place would certainly fit your needs. If you have a little more time, I’d go somewhere else.
