When you visit the «other» stores, they are mean and nasty to black women and do not feel they have to respect us. But we continue to patronize them. Let’s support our own. Everyone else does…

The store is run by great black folks so they KNOW everything I was ask about. This is been my beauty supply store for the past two years now and I have enjoyed it since. I’ve gotten everything from lipstick to crochet hairs, wigs everything.

This place is great! Floor to ceiling products from hair to skincare and I was shocked to find NYX’s full cosmetics line near the entrance. I love this place, I will definitely be back.

Love, love, love this beauty supply store. they are Always so helpful and take time with their customers. I have never been in a hair store with the best variety and service as awesome as this. Courtney helped me tremendously and was so patient with me and my many questions about different products lol. also they are not crazy priced. Other hair stores that I’ve gone to in Atlanta, the workers have been rude when you ask them questions and act like they don’t want to help you, but Atlanta Beauty Deport was the Complete opposite.

I go here all the time and what I need, which is a favorite afro spray, is always in stock. They have a nice supply of bath products which I get sometimes as well. I glance at other things, but haven’t purchased much else, but will in the future. The prices are very reasonable and comparable to any larger/​chain store. They are always friendly and quick to serve.

This is the best beauty supply store I have EVER went to! I am naturally inquisitive and usually want things that aren’t readily available and they still cater to my needs. They truly want you to be happy with your purchase and it shows.
If you want to be treated like you matter, have your questions answered, get really great quality products and jam to some awesome music all at the same time :-) go to Atlanta Beauty Depot

Despite my specific question about returning an item, the owner neglected to tell me that there were no refunds, only exchanges. Nor did this information appear on the generic receipt.
I returned the unused item two days later, with the receipt, and was refused credit to my Visa account or a cash refund. The owner was adamant that I was told about their store «policy» on returned items.
After observing other customers eating chocolate, then combing their fingers through wigs and hairpieces, I disgustedly agreed to a «store credit.» This «store credit» turned out to be nothing more than a handwritten date and dollar amount on the back of my original receipt.
This receipt had neither the name of the store (it is also not displayed on the outside of the store) nor the name/​signature of the owner.
I had to return to the store to obtain a business card with the store name and address in order to write this review.
Buyer beware at this store.
