My wife bought a Groupon for this place about a year ago and Midwest Grills mailed me some jerky and it was awesome! My wife bought another Groupon a few months ago and I went out there to pick up my jerky and the owner is one of the nicest guys ever. Not only do they have wide variety of jerky, the store offers taste testers… which is awesome! I bought a few bags and took them home. I had them sitting in the bag and then I went out of town on business. A couple weeks later I opened the bag to find that it was moldy. I sent an email to the Midwest Grills and received a response within 36 hours. I wrote in there about how the jerky was moldy and I would like some new jerky. He responded asking if I had left it in the fridge or put it in the freezer. I did neither… he told me that it needs to be refrigerated or it will get moldy. It’s on the front of the bag. Sure enough, it reads, «REFRIGERATEOREATWITHIN3DAYS». I of course didn’t read the bag and it was all my fault that the jerky had gone bad. So, now I’m just mad at myself because I should have at least looked at the front of the bag. I wrote back that it was all my fault but I really love their jerky and was hoping he could send me some replacements. This guy is so nice! He shipped me some jerky the next day and I just received it yesterday. Not only do I love this jerky, but knowing that there is a company out there that cares about their customers will definitely keep me coming back for more. I just need to remember to refrigerate the jerky. :) I will continue to order jerky from them for as long as I’m still around. They are fantastic!!!
