KC’s Sports All The Time

The food was good once we got it. We were there when the restaurant had 4 other tables being waited on. We were the 5^th. The waitress came right away and got us our drinks. We waited about another 15 minutes before she came back for our order. We then waited an hour for two cheeseburgers. The cheeseburgers were okay. I can’t say anything bad about them but the service was horrible. I’m not sure if we will be back or not.

I have to say, I have always had good food here! Tacos (Taco Tuesday). Hot wings are great! Burgers (Thursday on special), appetizers are good and the best side salad. Wraps and nachos — I like as well. Happy Hour through the week 11 – 7 I believe! Be sure to ask about daily specials! If I’m not mistaken The owner feeds anyone on the Smithville football team that show up in uniform on Fridays! How awesome is that! And I think they may of started karaōke on Thursdays!

I’d have to agree with other reviewers in the fact that delivery of the food seemed to take a long time but I wasn’t in a hurry. Food tasted good though and there was a pretty comprehensive menu with pretty many options. Enjoyed a lot of tv’s and a couple pool tables. Its fairly large compared to the other places around. Server was nice. I’ll be back. Chili and Philly are good.

Stopped in to the watch the game 5 of the World Series. Wyatt was our waiter and he did a fantastic job. If you go in, ask for him! I ordered the chicken strips and another in our party ordered the quesadillas. Both were awesome! TVs everywhere, so there is not a bad seat in the house for watching the game. Definitely worth checking out!

I love this place and town needs this but service is super inconsistent. Just about every other time I have a great experience. Watching the Royals playoff run here was awesome. The other 50% of the time it takes forever to get served and even longer to get food. Tonight it’s been 1 hour and 15 min and there are 4 tables and we have not gotten food yet. Took 20 min to get menus tonight. An early night off and trip for dinner turns into a wasted night waiting on slow service. Flip a coin you’ll either be pleasantly surprised or very disappointed. We came to watch the ALDS Royals game after stepping Inside last week to check out the atmosphere. I was not expecting quick service, I knew it would be packed, and it was, but to my amazement the service was still quick and our waitress was checking on us the whole three hours we were there! I had a grilled KC hot dog add Chili and Cheese with fries. I was not expecting a foot long dog, which was awesome! A little later In the night we stepped over to play pool, and took our cups over with us, and the waitress still came to us a couple times, asking if we needed refills, even away from the table! The pool /​arcade space they had set up was nice. I will also point out in the review that they do have 15, I don’t know maybe 65 Inch TVs throughout, and I’d say there Is not a bad seat In the house to watch the game.

New place in town, so it’s attracting a crowd, but the service is SO SO SLOW. We only went there to get a sandwich, then leave, but it was OVER an hour and a half. I had to switch tables 3 times before a waitress even noticed me. They fell all over themselves at the end, and gave me a nice deal on my next visit, though. This should be noted. They knew they had problems tonight, and did the right thing at the end. Food WAS good, though. Had a reuban. Nice size, and taste. Queso dip was very nice.
