Cute little park, but really nothing to do here. The trails are not maintained, there is no clearing to really enjoy the scenery and too close to 25 to really believe you are one with the earth. But nonetheless it is nice that mama nature was left to do as she pleases here.

Launched our kayaks from here immediately after purchasing a new vessel and enjoyed our time weaving through the Nissequogue. It was surprisingly popular for folks to have their clan of kiddies just wallow in the random standing water in the parking lot, which is bizarre, and the ‘park’ itself didn’t do much for us, but certainly a solid starting point for a paddle.

Tiny but wonderful nature nook. I’ve never seen as many big green frogs in summer. It’s the end of the line for many kayakers and canoers coming from the Nissequogue river.
