The fourth world staff is really courteous and knowledgeable. Good sized store with a big selection. I only get bags and boards from them since the owner is very generous with the discounts when you buy in bulk.

One of the best comic book stores out there since midtown comics. Always have been so helpful and very fair with their prices and discounts. Always available to help or just have a great conversation about comics, stories, authors, and artists. If you’re thinking of checking this place out, stop thinking and go see the amazing collection of comics, games, and toys they have. You won’t be disappointed!!!

I LOVE this place!!! omg!!! Great selection of books and not just DC and Marvel, carries alot of indie and smaller publiser titles. Great collection of back issues, awesome toy selection, and outstanding customer service. My only issue with the place is that it’s not closer to my house so i can go everyday!!! After mid-​town comics this is my #2 comic book store in terms of selection. But given that it is a more intimate setting i would actually rank this as my #1 comic book store for enjoyabilty.

Impressive selection of collectibles and more extensive collection of books than most comic stores. Some were even priced cheaper than I could find anywhere online. Service was helpful and friendly. Will definitely return next time I’m in town.

Hey guys this is my first review I will be reviewing tons of stores and ect. But my first review is going to be one of my favorite comic stores. 4th world comics is a amazing comic store with a wide selection of comics from paper backs to graphic novels. This store has great service with a very friendly vibe. They have fair prices and a rewards program in which you get discounts off comics. They also have tons of collectables from mini bust to pop figures. And also have a wide range of the marvel and dc lead figurines. Great comic shop so definitely go check them out.

Great place. The selection is HUGE, so it’s hard to walk out of there empty handed. I don’t go to the place too often, as I’m kind of far, but when I do I’m always satisfied with what they have and what I get. Would DEFINITELY recommend going there.

Every time I go into this store I’m treated like family. The store has an amazing selection of comics and figurines. The staff is always on point, nice, and helpful. I’ve been going here for 15+ years and it has never let me down. I’ve been to a lot of comic book stores and this one takes the cake. It blows midtown comics out of the water. I would recommend this place to anyone.

So I moved my comic book pull list from Midtown Comics’ online to Fourth World. Pretty easy process and they have literally every book I collect (over 25 titles). They do not bag & board the new books like my prior servicer, but buying the bags is cheaper than paying $ 4/​week in shipping. Great job Fourth World. See you Wednesday.

I went in specifically for the manga, and they definitely delivered! At MSRP, their large selection of manga featured old classics, obscure titles, and new popular hits. However, the main draw were the OOP’s (out of prints), which I will see to clear out shortly. The staff was happy to answer questions and suggest sales and clubs that offer even better discounts. A must visit for manga.

I thought good comic stores were non-​existent on Long Island until I came across Fourth World. Great selection of books and miscellaneous comic merchandise. Friendly staff and a clean store. I try to stop in whenever I’m in the area.

Solid comic shop. Lots of back issues, trade paperbacks, plus the new stuff. Just picked up volume 1 of The Unwritten. Lots of action figures and other junk. Layout was a bit cluttered with the new releases in the back. Overall, though, nice to see that there are a few decent comic places left. Bought a stack of stuff for my nephew for his birthday and he was happy. Mission accomplished.

My favorite comic shop on Long Island. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I have never been treated differently for being female either which is a big plus.
Shop is very well organized and they have a wide selection of comic books, trades, toys, statues and even trading cards. Additionally, with all their selection the shop is not chaotic in the least. It’s a worth a trip.
The membership club is definitely worth signing up for if you are a regular customer. They also have some sweet sales throughout the year.

This is my absolute favorite comic store. They are incredible nice– always reasonably priced on variants and are willing to hold anything for me until I can get down there– I look forward to their call every week.
It’s also always fun to see what New Who such n such they’ve gotten in stock.
If you haven’t been there, definitely visit!

I fell in love with this place the moment I walked in. They have a tremendous selection of action figures, comics, manga, and, other merchandise. The staff were personable and really helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Some of their merchandise was a little pricey but other than that, it’s a great store.

A better comic store on Long Island, you will not find. My friends come from all over to go here. Fortunately, I used to live close by to it, growing up.
Staff is friendly and always nice. They’ve expanded over the years in space and merchandise. Most Comic Store end up going out of business, but this place has been around for a long, long time.
They will create a file for you and hold books at your request. They have tons of statues, animé movies, trading cards, superhero tee shirts, and toys as well. There is something for the Geek in all of us. They have a vast array of back issues and membership truly does pay for itself if you are a regular.
There is an adult comic section located in the back that you must ask to view. FYI. Obviously not for children.
Best place on Long Island. If you’re in NYC, try Midtown comics. great spot too.
