As my father likes to say, we only get two eyeballs. Dr. Vinokur has been instrumental in maintaining the health of my persnickety seniors. When you hit 75 and 85 seeing the obstacles life has to offer is paramount. A visit to see Eric(call him«Doctor» and you’ll earn a sermon on the absurdities behind titles) is always a joy. The staff up front treats everyone like family. The team behind the scenes seamlessly share responsibility. I trust this doctor with my heart. Above and beyond describing medical mumbo jumbo he will listen and provide fatherly advice. Eric’s father served this country so he has a particular soft spot for veterans. These folks will lovingly help your family. Note: Be sure to be on time! And absolutely *no* cell phone use here!

I wish it were possible to give a negative star rating. While Dr Lapp was wonderful the billing department is unresponsive. Repeated calls were left as unreturned and despite having both medical insurance that covers eye care and additional vision insurance they did not correct the situation and almost a year later I receive a collection notice. Now they finally they return my call only to say it’s out of their hands and I should try to send it in to be reimbursed. Needless to say I will now be looking for another eye doctor. PS the one star is only because I could not post without a rating

Dr. Eric Vinokur and staff are great. My mom and I have been going to him for years. Sometimes there’s a bit of a wait but its reasonable. Dr. Vinokur recently did my PRK corrective eye surgery and overall I am extremely happy. Before I got the surgery I didn’t even see 20⁄20 with my glasses and now I do. They also have a small selection glasses but I’ve never looked because I went somewhere else(see review for Focal Point). Great doctor if you want somebody who actually cares about his patients and their eyes.
