We found this Bed and Breakfast while looking for lodging near Bowling Green. We were in town to go to the National Corvette Museum and Corvette Plant(which is only about a 15 minute hop down highway 65). This inn has a Gone with the Wind theme. The huge Victorian house is on a two acre lot in the charming town of Smith’s Grove, Kentucky. We stayed in the Melanie room, which has a very comfy bed, sitting area and private bathroom. Fresh coffee is served at 8 am, followed by breakfast at 8:30. Both the food and coffee were delicious. Owners, Steve and Kathy are wonderful hosts. They are very friendly and easy to visit with, but not hovering. Both mornings we were there we lingered after breakfast visiting with the owners and other guests. We spent one nice afternoon chatting with another couple on the large front porch. The small town of Smith’s Grove has a gas station, several fast food places, a good Mexican restaurant and LOTS of great antique shops. We will be back!

My first experience at a bed and breakfast and it could not have been any better. The owners were very hospitable and made my husband and I feel at home. It was my birthday and I felt like a queen. I ate on china for breakfast, wore a Victorian hat And had a cinnamon bun cake to top off the meal. I had only intended on staying one night but liked it so much I stayed another. Anyone wanting a unique experience should give this place a try.

Charming home with a Gone with the Wind theme. We had the place to ourselves. This is located on a quiet street. We stopped here for a few nights on our trip from Pittsburgh to Nashville. It was quite lovely. We enjoyed our stay.
