Be very careful with this place. They charge for every tiny scratch and scrape, will shake you down for money when you move out, lie about alleged damage even though they sign off when you leave, never contact you about their so called issues and then send creditors after you without your knowledge. They are horrible.

Formally known as «the Ivy» the University Village at Slippery Rock has undergone much renovations. Designed to house either 4 students or 2 each apartment has individual leases. This is a great feature in the event one roommate decides to leave. The remaining tenants do not have to pick up the slack. The apartments are modern with state of the art kitchen and HE washers and dryers. The«club house» has a fireplace, sports tables, a large kitchen for parties, a gym, and even a tanning room. Outside they have a barbeque pit and a hot tub. Located about ½ mile from campus the school’s «happy bus» runs through the complex to get students to either school or grocery shopping. Parking is available for students with cars. 24 hour maintenance service is available. Rent includes a modest fee for electric however, please be advised if electric exceeds that threshold then renter will have to make up the difference. The only downsides I noticed is that the buildings do not have elevators for the floors nor is their a stationary tub in the laundry room. The laundry room is built into each apartment so there is no communal laundry. Grounds are clean and well maintained. It is a nice alternative to dorm living.
