Hessmer Ave. If you enjoy a 40 minute with beyond your scheduled appointment, this is your place. If you enjoy having your scalp burned by hair dye, this your place. If you enjoy having a hair cut that doesn’t come close to matching a picture, this is your place. If you like arriving at one pm and leaving at six pm, yes six, this is your place. After 5 tries, I’ve given up on their ability to be a professional training place.

At this partner school you can have one of the students that are in their final phase do your hair for you. These students are near to graduating and therefore they know what they are doing they just need to get the practise in aswell. There is always a trainer there that checks with the «future proffesional» what they are going to do and also checks your hair at the end.
It can be a bit hit and miss here due to the fact that people graduate and leave so don’t build up an attachment to your stylist. The first few times I went here I had a pm shine which makes your hair look great. The last time I went I decided to go for a regular colour and a cut which in a normal salon wouldnt take that long. The guy doing my hair worked very hard and was pleasant — however I was there for 4 hours and felt like I had a wasted day.
The prices for most things are pretty good which is why I go here but the add ons I find a bit crazy. Im not an expert in hairdressing but I think that adding $ 12 onto the bill because they used straighteners on your hair is a bit stingy.
For the most part I like this place. The stylists are friendly but not annoyingly over the top like in some places. The prices for a cut and color are good just dont be running on a tight deadline if you plan on going here!
