Every time I have been in the area with time to eat, this is the place I go! Everything is fresh, the prices are reasonable, and the staff exceptional. If you’re in the mood for a home style meal with a Cajun flare, T’leblancs never disappoints! And Donna makes an outstanding coconut cream pie that can’t be beat.

I was craving some crole food so I came here for lunch. Unfortunately, the lunch menu is pretty small. I ordered a lunch special that had a cup of bisque and a creole casserole. Both were pretty tasty, and the price was good. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly as well. There were a lot of older people in the restaurants. I was probably the youngest paying guest by 20 years. I don’t know what that was about. Maybe my timing was weird? Either way, would recommend.

Do not eat here. Food is just over salted and over breaded. I don’t recommend this place if you want a true Louisiana experience.

Love T’LeBlanc’s. The food is always freshly made and has the perfect homemade flavor, and you can wind up your meal with a delicious home-baked dessert. The staff is always welcoming and makes me feel like I’m right at home. The restaurant can be a little crowded some days because of its popularity, but that usually means it’s good! The hours are a little different — lunch is Mon-Fri 11 – 3 and dinner is Thurs & Fri only, 5 – 9. Call ahead and get a to-go order if you’re cramped for time though — you don’t wanna miss the food here.

Home style Creole lunch was great, muffaletta and lemon pie for me, spaghetti and meatballs for my wife. Both dishes outstanding! One of the best muffs I have had, bar none. Little crowded at lunch and for good reason. Service was quick and staff friendly and effecient.

Went in for my first visit after hearing nothing but good things about this restaurant. Initial impression is that the place is a bit dark. The walls are grey and the windows are covered in curtains. I found the menu had much less«Creole» than I expected. Lots of sandwiches and salads and a few specials, all of which looked good. I didn’t want a sandwich, so I went with the red beans and rice with hot sausage special. I watched a few tables around me receive their food and it all looked good. I was disappointed I didn’t get the smothered pork chop special when I saw it delivered to someone else. My beans were just OK, nothing special and, by no means bad. The sausage was a patty, which was not what I was expecting. My waitress was nice and polite(one of those people that calls everyone«sweetie» or «honey»). Overall my experience was good and I felt full when I left. I was expecting more and left a bit disappointed on that front but felt that it was worth a try for anyone looking for a local restaurant for lunch. I didn’t get to try any(as I was full from the generous serving of red beans), but everything in the desert cooler looked homemade and good.

The food was meh, but the crab-cakes and stuffed crab were terrible. Knowing real baltimore lump crab-cakes, this was like a deep fried mush. A paste of bread dust and crab… The whole meal felt like bread and oil. Note: The crab corn chowder was yummy. Thick sweet and just the right temp. The wait staff was very friendly and kept my water glass full at all times. Overall I was underwhelmed. The other Unilocalers deceived me…

Super homey feel with friendly & kind service. Food is amazingly fresh in taste & appearance. Portions huge. You will be taking home leftovers. Husband devoured oyster po boy… Daughter’s chick tenders from kid menu were not some frozen after thought but hand battered chicken breasts… Yummy onion rings and sweet potato fries. We loved!!! Would go back again if road tripping… Not far off I 10.

Most excellent! Wonderful staff and an amazing menu with nightly specials. Too bad we didn’t get in earlier, all the oysters were sold out! Highly recommend.

A most — amazing menu of just what we were hoping for… creole treasures. The fried green tomatoes jump — started the excellence. We felt like we were saying goodbye to dear friends when we left. The exceptional staff went above and beyond, sharing details about the homemade Pecan Pies and Pralines, each made daily by the most wonderful server and yes, the baker! This must be the definition of «southern hospitality.»

My wife and I have been going to T Leblanc’s for 15 years. The Friday night Prime Rib special is out of this world and at the right price. Everything is homemade and super delicious. I have had other dishes as well always superb quality dining. It’s a small family owned eatery with continuous great food. The desserts are all homemade by employe miss Donna all to die for. The only place I will go on a Friday night.

I stopped in with my aunt & uncle before an event. I had the crab salad, and I loved it. My aunt had a small plate and uncle had a po-boy or whatever his was. But whatever, everyone loved their food. The beer was cold and tasty! The server Liz was totally awesome and amazing!!! She was really lovable!!! An item that my aunt ordered wasn’t ready by the time we left, and Liz apologized and put it in a go box for my aunt. It is a gem in Slidell!!! I hope to return soon! I love dis place!!!

A small restaurant hidden away, but well worth checking out. It’s only open from 11 am — 2 pm for lunch on Monday through Wednesday, but it is open for dinner on Thursday and Friday. I had a delicious roast beef po’boy(dressed) and my wife had half a muffaletta. The bread for the po’boy was perfect, and they just give it a slight grilling to preserve the crispness. The meat and the gravy were very tasty, and has now become one of my favorite places to have a roast beef po’boy. The muffaletta was served correctly on a seeded round loaf. My wife enjoyed it very much, but when I asked her was it better than Central Grocery’s she just said it was«very good». The servers were friendly and didn’t refuse our request for a shrimp remoulade to go, way after the 2 pm closing time. Next time I’m in Slidell I’ll stop here again for lunch.

The service is the friendliest and most efficient you’ll ever experience. The food is delicious, the prices are Super Reasonable. Lunch has always been great, now their dinner service is great. Definitely one of the best cafes anywhere, and a treasure in Slidell! Fried Green Tomatoes, crabmeat remoulade, corn crab bisque all top notch. I Love This Place.

So glad we stopped in here after our swamp tour! It is clearly a family-type place where everyone knew everyone, but I can see why they have repeat customers from the area. Our waitress was really nice and friendly and let us order fried pickles even though they weren’t on the menu. And they were great fried pickles! Next time I would order the soup or salad instead of the catfish poboy though. The poboy was good, but I thought the soups and salads other people were ordering looked better.

We used Siri to find this restaurant for lunch before our swamp tour. We had never been to Slidell. I will definitely return to this place because the food was so goooooood! Home cooking at it’s finest. I had the creole spaghetti and it was so damn good. My husband and mom had the Muffalatta=delicious. My daughter ordered the grilled veggie sandwich and added chicken and I cannot explain how delicious it was. Lastly my sone had the bacon burger and it was tasty! The staff were welcoming and it was fast, easy and DELICIOUS! I will always remember this place!!! And hope to make a stop every time we go to New Orleans!

When in a foreign land, turn to Unilocal to steer you in the right direction! I ventured to Louisiana for a work trip and needed to find a good local place to eat, so I consulted my handy Unilocal app, and Voila! T Leblanc’s is a diner-style, divey restaurant with amazing food and service. Thursday night, group of 7, and it was no problem for anyone to handle. We were sat immediately at a nice, clean table, or beverage orders came out without us noticing a wait, and our food was probably 10 — 15 minutes behind that. The menu offers several choices from burgers to sandwiches(and poboys), salads, fried seafood platters(of course), and some home-style delights, like liver and onions. I completely forgot to check to see if they accepted credit cards, and they don’t, but fortunately we all had cash to cover our meals.

Definitely– hole in the wall type. We were looking for something cajun on the way back to Texas from Florida. Decided to chk this place out based on reviews. Nothing really stood out. wished we ended up at a place that would count for a unforgettable local experience and good choices of Cajun flavour full food. Food was average, very limited choices on the menu but fresh. Their cucumber salad was made out of home grown freshly picked cucumbers. That’s all that stood out! Prices were reasonable. They are only open 3 hours during lunch.

Great family style place. Large portions, friendly people. The only down side is parking. I suggest parking across the street at the strip mall. Just an fyi, they only take cash or checks. Well worth the price.
