I arrived at 10:33, waited until 11:15– still not called to check in. There was at least 15 people waiting to be seen. So I left and went to a cvs minute clinic.

I work in healthcare and was skeptical to come to an urgent care office. I’m happy to say that the Doctor and nurses were surprisingly great! Doc had awesome bedside manner too. The reception wasn’t too friendly when I called but they were very personable, in person. If I had to go back, I will. They had all the equipment needed to treat my symptoms and they didn’t shoo me off to the ER

I went in on Friday morning, and was seen in about ten minutes and was out of there thirty minutes later. I also came in right as they opened, but even in the afternoons, I’ve always been seen in under 45 minutes. Good service and attentive doctors. I’ve been before and I’ll go back again!

I’ve been here on a few different occasions, usually when one of my kiddlets are sick with minor things like pink eye or strep throat. Today I was the patient. A few months ago an old silver dental filling cracked and a piece of it broke off. It was somewhat off-putting, but I wasn’t in pain so I tried as much as I could to ignore it. I have a fear of dentists, their tools, those dental chairs and just the way a dentist office smells. Over the next couple of weeks more cracking and breaking was occuring and I kept burying my head in the sand. Because that’s what smart grown ass women do, right? Yesterday it finally happened. The filling had erodded enough that I woke in excruciating pain and there was no doubt in my mind that the nerve was exposed. So I hurried into my dentist’s office… hahaha just kidding! I decided that I would«treat» it myself by taking ungodly amounts of ibuprofen, BC powder and drowning that liberally with Anbesol. Yeah, none of that touched the pain. Then I noticed a very large lump under my jaw where said tooth and its rebel filling reside. And the lump kept getting bigger. And bigger. I needed antibiotics and fast. So I put in a call(FINALLY) to my dentist and wouldn’t you know. They close early on Friday. I went to Doctors Urgent Care and was seen almost immediately by some very caring nurses and one doctor who only fussed at me a little… although he did call me stubborn and feisty lol… for not seeking treatment as soon as I noticed the problem. Two shots and three prescriptions later and I was out the door and am now on my way back to feeling somewhat normal. He made me promise I would follow up with my dentist on Monday and I have a feeling he’s going to hold me to that :) This place is a great alternative to the ER if you’re ever in need of fast medical care that isn’t life threatening.
