One of the best beer selections in Westchester. Cozy atmosphere with a separate dining room. The food is really good, much better than your typical pub grub.

Bookmarked this restaurant as part of a daytrip to the Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow area. Big craft beer list, decent view of bridge, and solid environment. Ordered the burger with a bunch of add ons: mushrooms, caramelized onions, and salsa($ 16). Burger is fairly large and comes with thick-cut fries that are seasoned well but aren’t too salty. Burger is slightly overcooked from medium I asked for, otherwise a filling sandwich. I did notice, however, they forgot the salsa on both of our burgers. I didn’t realize until halfway in, so no point in mentioning it. As for beers: got a pint of the Money IPA and a 10oz of Death by Coconut($ 8 each). Solid variety — strong beers that paired well with the food. Despite forgetting the salsa, the service is friendly and fairly quick. Probably don’t see myself coming back since it’s so far away, but glad I stopped by.

I came to Sleepy Hollow for a solo birthday adventure. I perused their lunch specials and ordered the BBQ Monterey Venison burger with an amber lager to wash it all down. After I took my first bite, I knew I was going to have a great birthday. That burger was the best burger I’ve had in a long, long time. The meat was juicy and flavorful, the bread had the perfect amount of bite, and the very underappreciated bun-to-burger ratio was ONPOINT. Almost all the burgers I order struggle with the latter. Either the buns are so small that the ingredients starts spilling out as soon as you take a bite or the buns are so big that you feel cheated, but Bridge View Tavern nailed the ratio perfectly. This was probably one of the five burgers in my life that was delicious, perfectly cooked(crusty on the outside, moist on the inside), filling, and architectually flawless. I was licking my fingers after I was done. The fries were nothing to sleep on, either. Best of all, they had every ingredient I could have possibly wanted. I got to create my mad dipping concoction of ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, and Heinz malt vinegar. I don’t know if they can take credit for how good my amber lager was but hell, I’ll give it to them. If they didn’t brew it, the bartender sure did a great job of pouring it. I will 100% come back to this place when I’m in the area again. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had.

Definitely my new go to place if I’m ever around town. Had the baked mac and cheese which was very good cheesy and tasty. Had the breaded chicken and rice which was delicious and the salmon was great as well. The view was the best, I can imagine coming here in the summer and sitting on the patio and enjoying that view

Loved this place! Staff friendly. Owner friendly. Service great. Food exceptional. The only drawback: wasn’t able to get in for dinner on our third and final night due to popularity. Highly recommended!

Food was excellent — had the BBQ platter which was delicious(and tremendous)! Solid beer selection too. I wasn’t familiar with a few of the beers so the bartender brought me over a few samples and let me try. Would definitely go back. Cozy spot with a cool view.

The cozy interior was the best place to enjoy the view of the Hudson river. The service was very attentive, they always made sure that my table was served and that everything was ok! My table got the disco is dead fries and BVTBBQ platter paired with the traditional red sangria. The platter also came with a choice of cole slaw, cooked beans soup or corn bread. We chose the cole slaw and soup. The entire platter… all I can say is delicious. It was definitely a lot more food than what I was expecting for 2 people but everything was made to perfection! The fries were delicious in the beginning. I wish I had known that all the oil would be left on the bottom so for next time, definitely mix up the fries once you get them! Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be coming back when the weather’s warmer to enjoy the Beer Garden outside!

This place will make you fat and happy. Oh, and also drunk. Definitely that. But not necessarily in this particular order. Here is the true sequence: The Happy: You’ll be happy because this place is so cozy and welcoming. The dining room has a dated, yet really warm feeling, like your grandpa’s living room crossed with an old-school lounge. Except it doesn’t smell like Marlboros and mothball farts. The view of the bridge, naturally, is perfection. Our server was so genuinely friendly and helpful, she even let me sample a couple of the beers from their extensive list before committing. Tiny free beer makes me smile. The Drunk: Baby Jesus do they stock some nice beers here. You can diddle about with any number of really fine offerings from around the country, but if you really want to be a champion at life, cut to the chase and try the Alesmith Speedway Stout. This beer has a world-class rating of 97⁄100 on Beer Advocate. Oh, it also has 12% alcohol content, you guys. THEDRUNK, remember? The Fat: This menu is jacked up with some of the tastiest comfort foods you’re going to find in Tarrytown. We started with smoky/sweet pulled pork empanadas which were tender, flaky and delicious. My fish and chips entrée was light and moist and my wife’s Bacon Jam fried chicken was a huge, out of control stack of a sandwich served on a hill of sweet potato fries. We finished the meal off with a warm brownie sundae topped with caramel and ice cream. I’m starring in «My 600 Pound Life» next week. My wife rolls me with a winch to ensure I don’t get bed sores. I’m fat, you understand? Big fan, Bridge View… big, fat, happy, drunken fan.

Went here based on the Unilocal reviews, and they were spot on. The food was delicious. Burgers were fantastic, onion soup was awesome, and the disco fries(basically nacho fries) were fantastic. Service was great too. Will definitely come back!

Great and fast service! Full bar and they don’t cheat on their alcoholic drinks. Their drinks are strong ! For appetizer, definitely get the chicken wing with garlic sauce! A small comes with 10 pieces. And their burgers are huge!

I like this place, the location, the view & the food. I didn’t have a great experience with the service, & one of my friends didn’t have the best luck with the food. The good: –The place reminded me of a bar i used to go to in college. –The food is unuque. There aren’t many places that serve Elk, Boar & Bison. –The Elk Burger was perfectly cooked and very tasty. –The Franziskaner Hefeweizen was delicious.(and huge). –The view was really nice. The Bad: –There wasn’t really a place to wait, we were just kind of in the middle of everything. –The waitress was one of those people who hears you, but doesn’t respond when you ask for something. «Hey can we have more napkins please» *she walks away & comes back with more*. –The waitress didn’t write down our order. She had to come back and ask my friend what fries he wanted, got his burger doneness was incorrect and left cheese one it even though he requested it without.

Amazing location for starters. Take a moment to soak it all in before entering. First visit on a Sunday @ 5:30. Walk into the bar, so a bit of an odd setup at first glance, but makes sense as the dining room is thru a swing door to the right of the host/hostess stand as you walk in, so help keep your dining experience more conversation-friendly. The place was very full and fairly loud with the numerous NFL games going on and the fact the Giants were on of the teams playing. I figure that factored in to why it was so jammed. Put in a request for a table of 3 and waited with a beer for roughly 15 minutes. Service was prompt and friendly enough without going overboard. Incredible looking menu. We had the calamari for an app and it was very solid. Plenty of prawns with a nice marinara sauce on the side. For dinner, I had the Beef Bahn Mi, which sounded like an odd choice, but the description made it sound so good and it did not disappoint. The crusty bread was spot on, as was the balance of all of the flavors packed into this lovely sandwich. Can easily recommend it to anyone who is a fan of this item. Lots of craft beer on tap and prices were reasonable. In an out within 45 minutes. Great find, thanks to Unilocal

Excellent beer selection! Tasty food! Friendly service! Looks like a triple threat!!! I journeyed from the city to check out this place. An express train with the first stop in Tarrytown brought me almost right to the doorstep of this place in only 37 minutes. A leisurely 10 minute walk from the train and I was sitting down for a beer. Came here to celebrate the birthday of a friend and we had a spectacular time. We started with the fig and goat cheese pizza. Amazing… one of the highlights. Then we had some mac and cheese, also good. I ordered the Dr Pepper braised short ribs with spinach and mashed potatoes and a side of fries. That was all great. The short ribs were so tender and the mashed potatoes were excellent. My friend had the BBQ platter which was great but also enormous! We got one of each dessert(warm apple pie, butter crack pie and brownie sundae). They were all delicious… loved the butter crack pie. I nearly had to unbutton the top of my trousers on the train ride back, but I was fat and happy. Definitely a great place to check out.

In its charming location overlooking the Hudson River, Bridge View Tavern is leaps and bounds beyond a dive with mediocre pub grub. Plainly put, I’m smitten. After heading down on an early Monday evening and finding out that my go-to(Mint Premium Foods) was closed, my friend and I turned to Unilocal and I’m glad we did. Sitting in the warm glow of the sun as it began to set(and gradually lowering the blinds so not to get blinded), I sipped a Bell’s 30th Anniversary brew(lovely imperial stout, SOGLAD it’s now in NY) and shared a wonderful naan flatbread with figs, goat cheese, caramelized onions and arugula. My main dinner was GENIUS — a salad of mixed greens, cucumber, tomato, and wonton strips tossed with a miso-mirin dressing topped with fried calamari. WHY doesn’t every place offer fried calamari as a salad add-in? Anyway, there’s a reason the rating is so impressively high here. It’s a modest, unpretentious, no-frills, simply delicious Tarrytown staple. So glad I stopped in!

Thisnis my second time at this place at what I am told is the business time of the year for them. Because the place is located so close to sleepy hollow by, they become extremely busy during the month of October. I was told inwoukdnge R a two hour wait and it turned out to be more like a one hour wait. When my party of five was seated my waitress, a lady with black hair who was extremely friendly, started taking care of us immediately. The service we received was excellent. It gave a warm feeling to the place, although I traveled over an hour, I was home. This is important for me since my parents own restaurants and when I walk into them I feel like I’m home. Our food was simply amazing. My friend and I ordered the bbq platter which consisted of smoked bbq chicken wings, pulled pork, at Louis style ribs, and sausage with two sides. We also ordered the baked macaroni and cheese, dr pepper braised short ribs, the wild boar chorizo burger, and the brick tavern burger or BVT with garlic fries. The bbq is excellent. Smoked on premises, not dry, extremely tender, and exactly what I would expect from a place claiming to smoke all of their own meat on premises. The baked macaroni and cheese sprinkled with panko, bacon, and tomato was the best I have had in a while The garlic fries are actually covered in a mixture of pesto from fresh basil, garlic, and olive oil. Very good. I will be coming back! I posted pics of the food and had a great experience. Thanks for making our weekend special!

Don’t be fooled by the tavern appearance this place has amazing food to compliment the extensive beer selection. The burgers are great, the wild boar chorizo burger is my favorite so far. I had the chipotle fig jam sandwich earlier this week which was delicious. The Panko breaded chicken was cooked perfectly and the chipotle fig jam offered a phenomenal sweet and spicy taste. My last visit I had the chili con carne nice hearty meat topped with melted cheddar and served with potato chips. The Mac and cheese with the option to add creole shrimp sounds delicious I think I’ll have that on my next trip which will be very soon!!!

The inside dining room is a little small but quaint. The views from outside are great hence why we came. Ordered the mac and cheese and was out of this world. Super creamy and well seasoned with nice little pieces of tomato and bacon! I had the wild boar chorizo burger with was loaded with grilled onion and bacon jam. Everything about this burger worked and wish i could have finished it but was too full from the mac and cheese. Tried the veggie burger and hate to admit it was fantastic. I will not become a vegan anytime soon but i def wouldn’t mind eating these«burgers» on the regular. Prices were a little on the high side for the type of place it is but the food was well above average and don’t mind paying if it tastes this good.

What a great place to grab some food and a beer or two! Patty our waitress was fantastic! She offered suggestions and was on point! I was torn between a hamburger and the pulled pork sandwich. Well, whomever decided to combine those two created a heavenly dish! My friend ordered the chicken sandwich based on Pattys suggestion. She loved it! Personally, anything with bacon… you can’t go wrong! The views are great and the service is awesome! I am a boring domestic beer drinker. However, they offer an extensive variety of craft beer. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you stopping in!

I am totally obsessed with this place. From the environment, service and food, I literally can’t complain. I ordered the Irish burger which was a special, Irish soda bread and Jameson wings. Everything was delicious and 100% hit the spot. My burger was cooked perfectly, and despite the fact that I feel like I gained 3000 pounds, I have no regrets. On top of the good food, the view is great especially if you go during sunset. I definitely plan on going back! The nachos, pulled pork empanadas and Mac and cheese are calling my name!
