Have gone to this restaurant many times when visiting friends and am never disappointed. The service is great and food is always plentiful and good. Husband decided on 2 appetizers for his meal and had stuffed mushrooms and bacon wrapped scallops. Both were delicious. Scallops were in a maple syrup drizzle which was delectable.
I ordered the lobster roll which came with lobster stew but traded that for French onion soup. The soup was steaming hot with plenty of gooey cheese melted on the crock. The lobster roll was very good in a toasted bun and I ordered drawn butter instead of mayonnaise.
Always will stop in here for a meal when in town.

The restaurant is very homey and clean. We were greeted by a very friendly lady and seated very quickly, however It took quite a while before our server came to take our drink orders. The food was very good and the prices were moderate. The only reason I gave 4 stars was due to very slow service and having to repeat our request for more coffee.

We had the bruschetta as an appetizer. If it wasn’t for the fact we were both famished, we would have sent it back. Instead we slogged down a soggy lightly toasted white bread, with diced tomato, and pickles, no onions, no, garlic, no fresh basil, instead lightly sprinkled with dried jar basil, not fresh as the menu claims. It was pretty gross.
I got the BLT and the bacon was limp not crisp and again the bread was soggy and only lightly toasted. The French onion soup was average as was the lobster stew.
This used to be a good restaurant, but now I doubt we’ll return.

Just driving through town and we picked the place with the most cars. What a wise choice. I had a brisket panini and my husband had the blackberry salad. Our food was wonderful but the blackberry salad was the best have ever had. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable.

Harpswell, ME
Very pleased with this place. Stopped by for lunch while traveling for work and grabbed a lunch off their special menu. A shaved prime rib sandwich, which came with waffle fries. It was great. Food came out fast and hot. Serving was big, almost to the point I could not finish. Servers were friendly so overall four stars.
