It is what it is, corporate chain pizza. I order from here occasionally when money is tight. I usually get the specials like a $ 102-topping 14″ pizza or the 3-Topping for $ 12. Sometimes they have a 50% off regular price pizza. Another plus is 2 Liter soft drinks for $ 2. So for $ 16 and change, I get a standard mediocre pizza. Delivery is prompt. Was stiffed for a bottle of soft drink once and they offered me their crappy dipping sauce for my next order.

Meh. I used to get Papa John’s all the time when I lived in Champaign, while in college. Whether it be my aged taste buds or just simply this one is not up to par, this papa john’s just doesn’t cut it. The pizzas are acceptable but definitely not my go-to pizza.

I love the pizza I also like that they make the sauce sweet unlike other pizza .I really recommend this reastruant. But I don’t like that it always takes forever to have the pizza delivered to your house, apartment or hotel.

Worst Pizza experience ever! Ordered 2 pizzas last night, they delivered the wrong pizza and when I called to get the right pizza delivered the manager of all people said they couldn’t deliver the correct pizza unless I pay for it. When I asked for his district managers number he kept saying he didn’t have it and then eventually hung up on my buddy. My friend will be calling corporate.

I’m not a fan of Papa Johns. The location in Evanston has screwed up every order or pizza I’ve ever bought there. But I received a coupon for free bread sticks from the location in Skokie, so decided to give them a try. When I told them I had a coupon on my phone, the manager said he wasn’t familiar with the offer. I showed him the coupon and that it came from that exact store. He said that without a coupon code he couldn’t honor the offer. Then he lied and said he had no power to change any prices(though of course a manger can make price adjustments.) Rather than argue with him, I got on my phone to see what other pizza places were offering discounts in the area. Then chose one that was an even better offer and I got in my car and drove 5 minutes to Sarpinos. I told them I had a coupon on my phone. They said okay. I asked if they needed to see my phone to get a code or anything. They said it wasn’t necessary. So I got my pizza and my discount with no hassle. I also learned a valuable lesson: if tempted to visit a Papa John’s because you get a coupon in the mail, just disregard it. They probably won’t honor it any way. Plus there’s bound to be a better offer — and better pizza — just a few minutes away.

Honestly if I could give this place a negative star I would… I received my buffalo chicken pizza, and there was no buffalo sauce, or bacon, and it was covered with onions when I asked for no onions. so I go in to tell them and the kid was very rude and just squirts buffalo sauce sloppily all over the pizza, I tell him this won’t do. So he goes to make a new one and is not wearing gloves and doesn’t wash his hands while he kneads the dough AFTERHETOUCHEDMONEYANDWIPEDHISNOSE!!! I tell him thats just unacceptable, and had to argue for 10 minuets to get my money back, it was absolutely absurd. Please, save your money and time and order somewhere else. This please is repulsive.

We’ve ordered from this location multiple times, and have always had hot pizza. The pizza itself is what it is — IMO the best ‘national chain’ pizza delivery available. They get a bonus for 1) Delivering to my house even though it’s indicated to be just out of range on the app /website and 2) Just honoring the online Papa’s Big Deal via phone. Phone folk are nice enough and dead-on with the delivery time estimates(even though they are long a lot).

I actually made an account for this situation specifically, I made a delivery to my hotel room and the guy came up knocking on the door loudly, i give the man his money also i tipped him with a good amount, then he asked for the coupon so i gave it to him and said«well thats the first time someone asked me to give the coupon» then he replied telling me «well there is a first time for«everything» in a rude way, so i asked for his name and he told me to «shut the fuck up» i just stood there in shock… oh and the pizza is tasteless so please keep away

Very cheap and rude owner. He doesn’t know how to deal with customers. if you treat your customers good, people will come back.

A friend and I were on the drive back to the city. We had enough time for a quick meal and then to head to an event. We had pizza in mind and I was thinking a couple individual pies at Pequod’s would be rad.(Calling in an order wouldn’t have taken much time). Since this PJ’s location recently opened, he suggested stopping through here. On my smart phone I was able to locate the phone number and place an order. If you watch local cable, you’d know PJ’s is advertising any large with a few toppings for $ 10 and a specialty pie for $ 2 more. We ordered the Works and with tax it was thirteen dollars and some change. Now, PJ’s offers a pan(known to them as hand tossed) and thin style crusts. I didn’t ask for thin. Unless you mention, they don’t make anything but hand tossed. We picked up our pie in the time they specified. Got back to the crib to eat and grabbed slices. The slices couldn’t hold all the toppings. The slices were thin, so thin it couldn’t do its job and had some strange texture on it. Almost as if someone used two pans to flatten it and the pan left an indent on the crust. The pizza was wall paper thin and the crusts were the size of PJ’s bread sticks. Not the best pizza we’d ever had, kind of disappointed with it. A couple things I’ll mention. The two guys working during this shift didn’t seem like friends. They seemed to be having a long, tedious day and their attitudes were not meshing. In the future, I hope the next pie is better and I hope someone sees this review and gets them some cross training in paying attention to the order.

I’m not an avid pizza fan but what I do know is that the works and buffalo chicken pizza have onion in EVERYSINGLEBITE. If that’s something you don’t like what now? Other than that their pizza is just fine, I’m not a foodie but I do know if a pizza is great or just fine.

Welcome to Skokie, Papa John’s! I love PJs — totally brings me back to my college days. I gained 20 lbs because of that garlic sauce, but it’s so good when it hits your tongue… This location is super clean, has friendly employees, and a few pull-up parking spaces. I don’t get carry-out or delivery pizza often, but the ingredients were definitely fresh, and the toppings weren’t skimpy and were spread evenly throughout the pie. The baked crust had a crunchy surface and a pillow-y middle. I usually avoid eating crusts, but with that garlic sauce… man, I can even eat a shoe if it’s dipped in it. Heaven! I haven’t used their website yet to order, but they supposedly have a rewards points system everytime you order online. The points will rack up to free food!
