Boo for wood chip floors. Yay for lots of swings, different levels of park, a big field next to it, and so much equipment you can easily play lava monster on it and it’s actually a lot of fun. Unfortunately the Skokie Park District building is RIGHT next to it so you don’t feel like you have much privacy nor can you sneak in when it’s late to swing or slide or whatever it is you kids do these days in parks at night… However they have a nice little tower thing to climb up for your kids that they don’t have at other parks in the area. The pro to the community center being there though is that if you need a bathroom they’ve got a few of them, also they have a vending machine so if you’re dying of thirst in the middle of the summer and need something to drink and a cool building to stop into for a few minutes you can stop in. Oh yes! They also have a sand volleyball court(2 of them if I remember correctly). Lots of traffic from people in the park and those who walk by the path that is right there but still a nice park.

A beautiful park in skokie! The grass is green and the washrooms are actually clean. In the summer they have an International fest where different cultures perform and also have informational and retail booths. A 2 day event… the turn out is pretty good. Great way to spend a summer day.
