I have two kids who are now 20 and 17. Both are now past the age of seeing Dr. Swislow, but we’ve had 20 years of nothing but the best medical attention from him. His staff are friendly and efficient. He never made me feel like a «silly mom» for asking questions. His bedside manner with kids is fantastic — you can tell he’s a dad. We made it through all of the childhood issues including chicken pox, strep, pink eye, and even a meningitis scare, but Dr. Swislow was calm and comforting throughout. He even pierced my daughter’s ears in fourth grade and helped us find a surgeon when my son had to have tubes put in his ears at age 5. I wish I could clone an adult-care version of Dr. Swislow. I couldn’t ask for better care.

Have a 5 year old and a toddler — Dr. Swislow has been great so far. He seems to be very thorough during the appointments and answers all my questions. My kids have been pretty healthy except for a few infections that I came in for(along with the regular visits). Though he is somewhat soft spoken, you can definitely tell he cares about our family and is great with my kids. When he looks in their ears during ear infections he «finds» characters in them so my kids don’t cry! :)

Our regular pediatrician is Dr Minkus. But we had to see other doctors in this office due to last minute appointments. There are several complains I have about this office and if it weren’t for Dr Minkus, I’d be looking for a new pediatrician. We saw Doctor Swislow for my baby’s cold. She came down quite badly. After she started to get better, she seemed to get worse again — so we went back in. He looked hat her and all he said was Bad cold, that’s all. He looked at her ears, her throat, and listened to her lungs but would not say a word about it. When I asked him about the condition, he would not really answer. I was concerned about secondary infections and how long it might still take for her to get better. He would not really say anything to that either. I am a new mom with a 11 week old baby and worry a lot. I received no assurance or guidance. He was just in and out as if in a hurry. Also I don’t think I should have to remind a doctor to wash his hands before touching my baby. Won’t see him again
