Wonderful, unique, old time place. Feels like you’re walking into a food joint from 40 years ago. Lots of things to look at (if you’re not interested in your company :). Service is quick and efficient. Food is tasty and full of flavor, though a little on the greasy side. Prices are very reasonable. Parking is relatively easy.

Best kosher diner in America hands down. Probably the best kosher restaurant in Chicago. I am a big fan of ken. He was super friendly and gave us great recommendations…
All the food was made fresh and tasted great!
We ordered the bbq chicken poppers and the mushroom burger. Both were extremely delicious and the serving size was very generous.
Wish I had a place like this in my neighborhood. For sure will be returning in the near future.

I have to say this place is amazing. There burgers are soooooo good plus there kosher. This place is down the street from my house. Which is great. I can’t wait to try there other foods. Like there Italian beef. I think this guy has been in business for more than 20 years so that tells you a lot. Great place. Good prices for it being kosher.

Came here several times as a kid and well into my adult years and love this kosher gem right in the middle of Skokie. Great variety and very accommodating staff. I love how well they keep meat separate from dairy.

Seriously, I drive here from Naperville for kosher food. The burgers and sandwiches are awesome and the cost is reasonable.
The atmosphere is, well, a diner. It is clean and the employees are pleasant.
I wish they were closer and a shomer shabbat community would move to the western suburbs hint hint :(

Great food, great owners. If you are in the mood for a kosher burger, no better place to go in Chicago. They have great fries too! We go often and will keep doing so. PS, if you are a vegetarian, their veggie burger is amazing!

If you want an outstanding Kosher burger, come here for «The Burger Buddy.» One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I look forward to coming back here and trying the Beef Fry sandwich, and other options. As with most other Kosher restaurants, be prepared to pay a bit more. In this case, it is worth it.

Food is not bad but it’s a cool looking place with a 1950’s era dining section. The food is decent, very greasy though. I don’t know why people love their burgers, they are not flavorful at all. It’s a dried out patty with sauce. The rest of the menu is pretty good. The service is mediocre. All in all its a very fun place to eat.

I have been eating here for over 30 years. they serve great homemade soups I really like the turkey burger they grind the meat there, not frozen. The grilled salami sandwich is to die for great steak fries and a Dr browns black cherry to top it off. Inexpensive great for families, also one of the 2 brothers that own the place are always on the premises.

My previous review was 4 stars. I had to upgrade it to 5. — I had the beef sandwich last time and this time I ate the burger.
Best burger I ever ate. No lies. Don’t tell my mother.
Also– Skip the steak fries and go for the curly fries. Portions are still HUGE which is awesome. — Leftovers rule! Especially ones as delicious as this!

Stopped in for a quick bite while I was in Chicago because the other place I was looking for, closed down.
I had the Popcorn chicken special and was impressed with the quality of the food, real chicken. The rest of the meal was not very special, too much salt for my taste but hey, its fast food.
The ambiance is trying to be dine resume but misses the mark. I imagine it’s a great place for families who are looking for a wholesome fast food experience.
Free Wifi is a definite bonus and the guys working behind e counter were friendly enough.
It was good for my needs, but I’d like to explore more places before I came back.
