I get my chemical peels and micros from Stella. She is very professional and does such a good job on my face. I go to her once a month and have seen a great change in the way my skin looks and feels. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for for any type of facial. Her products are also high end. She uses PCA which I love! Her prices are very reasonable.

I love everything about this place from Cindy, Stella, to Gina. Great customers services. Great pricing. You can tell they actually care about you and your hair. Keep up the great work.

I’ve had acne scars on my face for years that I always hoped I could get rid of. Stella did microdermabrasion for my skin, and I noticed an improvement after only one time! I went back for a second treatment and a third, and now I can barely notice them. Stella was very attentive and kept asking me how I was feeling throughout the treatment. She advised me how soon to come back after and she did an excellent job!
I also went to Gina salon to get highlights for my hair. It’s the best my hair has ever looked. The entire staff there does an amazing job, is attentive, friendly, and the salon is very fairly priced. I highly recommend to come to this salon for anything you need!

I come here for my cut and color. Gina cut and blow drys my hair and I go to Cinderella (I believe that’s her name) for my color. LOVE my hair currently, It’s exactly what I want and I’m a very hard person to please when it comes to hair. Gina does the best blow dry from anyone I’ve ever been to, and the best part about this place is that it’s affordable!

Wow. Gina does the best blow outs and color in the business. My hair is amazing and I have some pretty frustrating hair. Salon is clean and nice. This is a family owned business and when you are there, they really make you feel like family! Sometimes you might have to wait a bit, but it is worth it!

Not only is this salon affordable, they really do an excellent job on your hair whether you go in for a cut, color, or blowdry. The employees are the sweetest and most accommodating people. I was referred to go there and since then have referred several other people and we honestly are all very happy with the services and quality of their work. Highly recommended! Gina and her entire team are absolutely amazing at what they do! I have been going to this salon for over 8 yrs and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. If you want a fabulous, customized color, cut and blow dry-​I would highly recommend this salon. Gina is friendly, accommodating and listens to her client’s needs. The salon also offers a variety of other services such as eyebrow threading and waxing, as well as a nail technician on Site. This salon is a neighborhood gem. There’s parking in front of the salon, which is extremely convenient. I refer all of my friends and family to this salon and Gina and her team never disappoint.

I actually have been going to Gina since I was a little girl, 5 years old to be exact and I am now 22 years old! She is very polite, always has a smile on her face and most importantly, is very good at what she does. Her family has made the business very comfortable and welcome their clients as if they’re family as well and that’s always respectable in customer service. Again, no business can be perfect and in the beauty industry, most other shops (yes I have tried others out, out of curiosity) actually have a cold atmosphere with employees who are so fake in their enthusiasm to talk to you or for their job at all, and like any normal person, you would feel uncomfortable. People are always asking me where I get my hair cut and styled because it looks great, thanks to Gina and Cindy. I always refer them to Gina Salon and they are always happy!

Cindy at Gina Salon has been doing my hair for some time and I cannot express how much I love the work she does! She really listens to what you’re asking for and does a wonderful job. I get compliments on my hair all of the time thanks to her.

I agree with the previous reviews that this is pretty much a hole-​in-​the-​wall. It’s very easy to miss and not all to pleasing on the eyes.
The last time I got my haircut, I went to a «high-​end» salon (Red 7 Salon in Evanston) and the girl butchered my hair. I didn’t have super high expectations for Gina, but I just wanted someone give me a decent cut for a decent price.
My problem with Gina was that she didn’t cut my hair at all as I had asked her to. I asked for an assymetrical cut much like Rihanna’s and I came out with a straight bob that was cut way too short. I mean, she did a good job on the cut but she didn’t listen to what I had asked for.
She was very nice but not very attentive. Not only that, it seemed like she was in a rush to get me out of there even though there wasn’t anyone after me. What’s the rush?
Was it better than my cut at the high-​end salon? Yes. Was it the cut that I had asked for? No, not at all. Was it worth the $ 30? Ehhhh, I don’t think so. I could have gotten a comparable cut at Betty’s and Nick’s for $ 5. I’ve been to a number of salons and the only one I highly recommend is Art & Science.
She did a great job on the blow dry but I had to wash it out soon after because the shampoo that they used wasn’t very pleasant smelling at all. Beware: they do NOT accept credit card.
