There was too much sauce in my wings. Looked like my wings were swimming in a barbecue sauce pool. Never going here again.

I order from here a few times a month for pick up, and every time its great. Hanna especially goes out of her way to ask more than«what would you like?» She is the reason why I go back to that location. Keep up the great work Hanna

I don’t know why I keep coming back to this location. Maybe I want to give it a chance, but after several visits, I think today was my last. My previous visit, I was seated fairly quickly near the servers station(where the fountain drinks are located) however was not greeted by the server in that area for 5 – 10 min while he was servicing others(a couple, a group of 4, and another group of 4) In that time frame, there were other servers gathered in the station chatting and I believe the male server passed on my table to another server, who finally greeted me and took my order. I waited 20 minutes to see a table who sat after me receive their food. Thankfully my new server was attentive and noticed my food had not come out yet and checked up on my order to see what had happened. She apologized for the wait as it was now 45 min since I had stepped in. Finally got my lunch with 10 min to spare. Today, learning my lesson, I chose to carry out. With the lunch menu all over the counter, and I looking at it, I assumed my order would be placed as a lunch special. Turns out the cashier and I had a misunderstanding and I was charged full price for what I had thought was the lunch special. I’ll take fault for that but it is the lunch hour and the menu handed to me had the lunch specials on it. I apologize for the long post but wanted to get some of my experiences out there. Perhaps I will give this location another chance in the future…

I don’t even feel like giving this location«1» star. This location is way too unorganized. It took 20 minutes for server to come snd introduced her self and another 10 minutes for our water and followed by minutes long wait. Either they are short staffed or management just don’t give a dams about this location. Now food, our boneless wings barely had any sauce in them. I had to ask for the side of sauce. I had high expectation from this locations since its in old orchard. No wonder, this location has a rating of «2» stars.

Worst service ever. I can’t comment in the food because after an hour it still isn’t at our table. 20 minutes in an empty restaurant to get two kiddie cocktails. 10 servers sitting g on the kitchen chatting The manager eventually noticed and the service immediately improved and comped some drinks but still don’t think I would return.

AVOIDAVOIDAVOID this location at all costs. Dear god I wish I would have read the reviews before I went here. For the longest time my girlfriend and I were SO excited for this location to open. I mean literally the anticipation of its arrival was for more over a year and a half or so. Convenient and closer to that of village crossing or Randhurst location it was something to look forward to. The service blewwwwwww! I mean honestly truly sucked. We waited forever and a day to be waited on and when we finally were our waitress was rude and didn’t give a flying F about her job it seemed like. Now the food in my opinion was pretty okay I thought which is why I’m leaning towards two stars instead of 1. However, I prefer my food a little more well done where my gf was all its too well done and over cooked. That also varies because I get traditional wings and she gets boneless. So it’s really a matter of personal taste and what kind of wings you’re getting. I didn’t think the food was all that bad but definitely not memorable. When our waitress came back we received the rudest, «are y’all done yet?!» And on top of that it seemed like forever and a day that we waited just to get our checks and dip. Haven’t been back since. Bye Felicia.

Upon entering the restaurant at first glance I could spot a fair amount of open tables, as soon as we walked in there was no one to greet us. 5 minutes later we were told that the kitchen was backed up and it was up to us whether we decided to wait, afterwards the«host» walked away and left us at the front waiting to be seated. Two different couples came in after us and they were seated before my party of 3 and myself. After politely asking why they were seated before us the response we received was«I just got here», but we had clearly made eye contact with the young gentleman in the front at least twice. After waiting for 15+ minutes the young gentleman returned and said follow me, he rudely dropped the menu on a table without looking back or saying a word and sped off. The staff needs a serious attitude adjustment, almost all reviews about the place are negative, to say the least I wouldn’t even give this place a single star. On a side note our server Tamara made the«experience» a little better but overall had a horrible time.

Good took almost took an hour to come out and couldn’t get any soda because their soda machine broke(!!!). The server seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. Another sever comes with a toothpick in his mouth asking if we needed more water. The food was whatever but one of the worst Buffalo Wild Wings service ever. Being in old orchard mall, I had high expectations but doesn’t seem like I will be visiting again when I’m in the area

The cook on the wings here were an abomination to the Buffalo Wild Wings franchise sauces. Try biting into what I can best describe as chewing on shredded leather with a slight crunch to it. I was hoping for moist and tender chicken wings, and that did not happen at this location. I’m so sad :( I’d recommend making the trip out to the other location on Carpenter Rd, close to the movie theater. They seem to have a better idea of what they’re doing when cooking their wings. Though if you ask me, if you live around this area and don’t mind the trek to Evanston, you can’t go wrong with Buffalo Joes.

If you want Buffalo Wild Wings, go to another location. Walked in to a mostly empty place and sat at the bar. We got our drink order in after 10 minutes of the guy avoiding helping us and weren’t even asked if we wanted food. We waited for him to come back as we watched him stand idly by and then disappear for 25 minutes. Another woman stepped behind the bar and also ignored us despite trying to catch her attention. We meanwhile witnessed several employees, including the woman who ignored us, standing around talking to each other while leaning against walls like there was an empty place. A third man stepped behind the counter in a polo and we finally got his attention and placed a food order. When the first worker returns he doesn’t say anything to us. Nobody has made eye contact with us since a food runner brought us our food even though we just want to box it up and leave and we have been here for over an hour. We also never received utensils and had to get up and ask one of the girls standing around for some. Worst service imaginable. We only finally got out of there when we saw the general manager and got up to tell him we really just wanted a box to go and our check. All while this was happening the three gentleman having drinks a few chairs over moved their empty glasses forward more every time they got passed and ignored until they were on the edge past the bar. As well as periodically, loudly, asking if anybody worked here just to try and get some service. Today, I watched the staff at this location get paid to ignore their customers for over an hour.

Been here a few times and I will actually go out of my way to NOT come to this location… The first time I got food here was a to go order… And they utterly messed it up. The next few times the service was ungodly slow, the servers hide at the back table on their cell phones which shouldn’t be on the floor in the first place. The only good part about this place was the bar. Walking in and sitting at the bar the bartenders are beyond nice. Quick and very diligent in making sure you always have a drink or your food is what you wanted. Sitting at the tables even in the bar area is just awful. Ordered boneless wings after being told about the special on traditional wings.(Never been a fan) so I declined and ordered boneless. It took the normal time to come out, but when it did not only were they traditional wings, they were cold and no ranch/blue cheese. Took the server 20+ min to bring the ranch and when I brought up the fact I ordered boneless to the guy his exact words were «Well um… Well there’s a deal on the traditional so here you go» -.-‘ I miss champs… The restaurant this was before bdubs moved in. It’s sad when you decide to drive 20 min out of your way to go to a BWW, just to get good service when one is literally 2 min away.

It’s our third time being here. The service is just way way too slow. Three of us ordered very simple things, wings, salad and Mac and cheese, it’s been 30 minutes, and we don’t have our food yet. Table was sticky, asked the waitress to clean up for us, never did. I don’t ever want to come back to this location. It’s too bad, since I really like the food… Oh the food just showed up, but we did not get what we ordered. Great…

Normally I feel like sports bars are the armpit of places that sell food and drink. I usually rate them below the dingy of a dive bar. On the flip side, I have always respected that they have their place in the pursuit of ruining your diet. You can grab a burger on the fly, and wash it down with a beer. B-Dubs will not have many frothy options for the beer snobs, but decent ones. If I’m dragged kicking and screaming, I come here for the boneless hot wings. Buffalo Wild Wings serves everything, not just chicken. I respect them for their diversity of food, and it’s all made on a mainstream level. My first visit to Buffalo Wild Wings was when my sister took me in Indianapolis, and she kept calling it B-W3’s. When I made it back to Illinois, that was the last I’d heard of it until people started calling it B-Dubs and I had no freaking idea what they were talking about. That was, until I did a little poking around on this restaurant’s history. What was once Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck, was now just Buffalo Wild Wings. Got it. The most amazing, emasculating and driven force behind the idea that flourished into this wing joint, has its roots in figure skating. As a child James Disbrow, co-founder of this establishment, had Polio and went into iceskating in order to keep his legs strong. One of his good friends was Scott Hamilton. Just as Disbrow was being elected as president into the United States Figure Skating Association, he passed away from brain cancer at the young age of 54. This makes me wonder if I recall seeing the figure skating competitions at this location. If not, in honor of Mr. Disbrow himself, I can say that is a sport I could honestly get into. I do believe I would finally find the beauty in the madness of flat screen TV’s! B-Dub’s won’t mess around with the intensity of their wing sauces. They have it all laid out on the menu. They depict a thermometer going downwards, wings from hell being the hottest, or what they are calling the«reformulated blazin’.» I won’t go there. I’ll stick to the mango habañero, thank you. My only complaint would be that I can take the heat, but here you lose the flavor the hotter it gets. I think you should also be aware that it is almost impossible to taste anything following their wings of death. Make sure you sample the cheese curds first, and, according to one of my friends, order in them as an appetizer sampler to cut down on cost. The breading over these«come here and I’ll help you forget your day» morsels has a crispy shell which seems to boost the overall flavor. They come with a dipping sauce that is slightly spicy, creamy, and no doubt, fatty. Yum! Last, I need to remind first-time visitors that most of these reviews were written while this still relatively-new location was trying to get on its feet. That’s not to say that you won’t run into a few bad staff members. Old Orchard is known for the picky shoppers and I can also imagine they find their way through the doors of B-Dubs. Staff, keep your chin up, I’m part of that struggle too. To the rest of you devout followers, nah nah nah boo boo, I got one of your Evanston managers as my retail manager! At first I could smell the hot wings all over him. Now I have come to see what the rest of you are missing. Sorry, I don’t know if my company is letting you have him back any time soon. Have faith, diners, and a better attitude. Things are going to change for the better!

This is my second time at the location. The place is brand new and the layout is nice with large screens and easy viewing of your favorite games. Now the reason for the one star. Terrible service… No wait… Actually no service. We were seated right away on a Sunday night. We sat for 20 minutes with not one server coming by. We even asked to be helped and they said they were working on it. A manager was notified but yet no service. After we alerted them of our wait to even get water, it still took another 10 minutes before we got up and tried the bar area. There were open seats but NONE were cleared out from the previous guest! At that time we left. This is a major management issue and should be fixed. I like the location and new updated look but if we can’t get even water in a timely manner something is wrong.

We are fans of the BeeDubs in our family. Our first trip out to Old Orchard after the sad closing of Evanston… Worth it. Got seated immediately, our waiter, Booker, was kind, prompt, and extremely professional. Would definitely return, based on his service alone. Food was hot, on time, in n out. Can’t go wrong with Lagunitas or Revolution on tap. It’s still not Evanston, but way better than village crossing.

WHY did you guys leave Evanston? The staff was so wonderful there. We just about cried when we saw it was gone. We’ve been to this location now twice. The first time, the service wasn’t great, but it was a packed house for a Hawks playoff game, so we let it slide. The second time, we stopped in for lunch and the service was awful and downright rude and the place was dead. The second time, the food took forever and our rude waitress kept«forgetting» things. Also, why can’t they actually cover the wings in sauce? All we want is not-naked wings. I never thought I’d say it, but we’ll probably go back to the one in Chicago on Clybourn. Just for the big games, and just because we still have gift cards.

I really enjoy eating chicken wings, but can’t understand how a chain that specializes in wings can do them so poorly. I have gone to other Buffalo Wild Wings and same thing… overcooked dried out wings with too much sauce. That being said, I didn’t order the wings and tasted my husband’s portion and I decided on a salad. Now I just don’t know how you can make a bad salad but it was below average. The greens and wonton crisps were fine, but the salad dressing was overpowering. I really can’t recommend any particular dish except maybe a deep fried entrée that might be worthy, but then again…

I came here with a friend looking for a decent place to catch the Bulls game and overall the experience was fine, I’ll probably be back again. We were not really hungry when we got there, and the wait for the wings was pretty long. But since we were planning on being there for a while it wasn’t an issue. The wings were warm, I didn’t count exactly how many of each type there were, but it seemed fairly even. Some of them were really good, some seemed a little dry/overcooked but I guess that’s better than underdone. We tried the Asian Zing, Caribbean Jerk, and Thai Curry. They were all moderately spicy and the flavors were good. Service was friendly, our waitress checked on us a few times throughout our meal. There seemed to be a ton of wait staff but it was pretty crowded due to the game. Was glad they allowed us to finish the game without pressuring us to leave. It is a great place to catch a game as they have big TVs everywhere you look, there really didn’t seem to be a bad seat in the house. If you’re looking for a decent place to catch the game and don’t mind waiting for okay food than this is the place for you.

This is a fairly new location. It opened a few months ago, it was the old Champs Restaurant located near the Regal theater 1 – 6. We have our committee meetings here because it’s a pretty spacious location and it’s centralized for everyone. There’s plenty of parking space because it’s part of Old Orchard Mall crowd. I like the layout, when you enter you are greeted right away. On the left side there’s the main bar with plenty of tables and booths. On the right side and behind the hostess counter are more tables and booths. There’s plenty of TVs all around the place big and small. You can even ask your staff if there’s not a lot of people watching to change the channel to another sport event for you to watch. So I give 4 stars for the service and the food well, I have to give it 2.5 here… The staff is friendly and attentive. They made sure our drinks were filled. Now the food, I would think the food temperature and quality would be the same in all buffalo wild wings establishment but for some reason, not so much here. I felt the food was subpar, sad to say. When we placed our order and got our meals, it was not all at the same time the wait was a few minutes apart and we’re kind folks that we wait for everyone to get their meals before we dig in. Can you imagine your wings getting cold right in front of you while you’re waiting for others at the table to get orders?!? When we got our meals, I didn’t get the equal amount of flap vs drummets. I’m a flap gurl, so I was pretty disappointed that my 10 pcs I only got 1, I GOTONEFLAP!!! I was hungry waiting that I didn’t bother asking a do over. For a good deal I ask if you can split a small order vs 2 separate snack order. These are the ones I tried: I like trying new flavors and the recent one blue moon bbq… it was ok but the mix of flavor didn’t really blend too well. Maybe they needed to simmer it a bit longer you can definitely taste the beer blue moon flavor. –Maple special; ick it tasted like fried wings with maple syrup drizzled on it. –Teriyaki salty and sweet –Hot sauce is really hot I had to ask for milk lol! –Medium which was a touch spicy My wings were crispy but the sauce was a bit cold… –Mondays was their boneless chicken special. Hubby ordered garlic parmesan which was good as expected. When I got my potato wedges with cheese, it was not my usual cheesy order. Now I had to ask for more cheese and that took like 10 mins for my order… just add more cheese and nuke it geez! We also ordered: –Their side salad and dry and the croutons tasted like it come out of a package(that was ok). –Chips & Salsa, thin corn chips and a saucy tomato salsa –We got mini corn dogs was crispy corn meal with mini dogs served with honey mustard sauce. –There was a special of buffalo chips with BBQ pork with lots of BBQ sauce and nacho type cheese. It was good but they needed to lessen the cheese and maybe nacho chips would have been a better choice than potato. Overall, it’s a nice new place to hang out and watch the games. Hopefully as the months goes by the cooks will get better as I’m looking forward to eating in their patio area.

I’ve been here three times since they opened as I live very close to old orchard mall. Service here can be pretty bad. Half of the staff is very young inexperienced and unprofessional. I ordered the make your own grilled chicken sandwich. And on the menu it looks like s cool sandwich that you can top with cool toppings such as pulled pork and blue cheese crumbles. The problem is when you get it it looks like a school lunch sandwich fit for a kid. Looks and tastes very cheap. I also ordered the spinach artichoke dip. It tasted great but served in a small paper cup. With pita chips that are very oily and taste like oil. Many of the items are served in small containers which makes no sense and makes it very uncomfortable to eat. I also tried the cheese fries. Imagine a small paper plate of fries with a slice of cheese on it thrown in a microwave. That’s pretty much it. They were dried out and stuck together. I ordered some chicken fingers for my daughter and they were burned. I did like the buffalo chicken wrap and would suggest that. It’s a shame that this place ha such bad service and quality as the concept and atmosphere are really cool and fun. But it takes bar food and makes a joke out of it. I will probably continue to go here as its close to home and fun.
