Last summer I eagerly anticipated the opening of the gallery at their new location and it was my first stop in Sisters this summer. Overall, I was a little disappointed with the gallery side of the operation. The star of the show is the attached bistro and wine bar, The Open Door.
Come for the art, stay for the food and wine.

Clearwater Gallery has moved to its new location at 303 W Hood Ave. in Sisters. The building was formerly used as the framing shop for the gallery, but it has been newly renovated to house the whole operation. It’s a beautiful building across the street (Oak St) from the Sisters Coffee Company.
In their new location, the gallery has a small wine bar with a tapas menu. They also have a large outdoor patio/​courtyard area that will be a nice gathering place when this phase of the renovation project is complete.
The new location is sure to be a great place to enjoy beautiful art and a glass of wine with friends!
