Sisters Park & Recreation District

A small building replete with all kinds of programs for young and old alike near the Sisters High School.
What a smart idea to house the parks and recreation district next to the school where they can share fields and resources.
I went in and looked around it appeared they had a couple of tumbling rooms and some locker rooms. Much information on the boards regarding ongoing and soon to come classes. Nice place.
We came into find some maps for the nearby disc golf course. This disc golf course is the best one I’ve ever played. Well maintained and laid out. There’s no map at the course which is why the cardboard maps are invaluable if you have not played this 18 hole course through the woods, before.
Very nice and scenic and flat terrain. It runs near the road in places but unless you have a horribly errant shot. you should be fine. (No, I didn’t).
A great way to spend an afternoon.
