We have really enjoyed dining here. Their take out is awesome too. They brew the best ice tea in the area. Their dishes are wonderful, plus it’s super clean. This has become our at least once a week spot. We love the Lamb Korma, the Chicken Biriyhani, and the garlic naan, just to name a few. Highly recommend this place

We have never had Indian good before coming here. We tried chicken tikka marsala, chicken krahi, and chicken tandoori. All were delicious and so tasty. Loved the garlic naan to soak up all the good flavor!

Amazing Indian food in Sioux City, who would have guessed?! I can’t say enough good things. The food is fresh, well made, and very customizable.(Whether you like a lot of spice or a little.) The restaurant is clean and nice enough that it makes a good date night destination. The service is top notch and the guys are always willing to help explain their large menu. Finally, I’ve ordered take out numerous times. Shahi palace uses high quality to-go containers that make transportation easy and I have never had a single mistake in my order.

This place is a treasure. The food could not be tastier ot more authentic. The price point makes dining here great for lunch or a nice dinner. White tablecloths, fine silverware, and some of the best service in town make anyone who walks in feel like a very important person. The portions are generous, and again I cant emphasize how great the food is! We find ourselves putting curry in more dishes when we cook at home after feeling inspited by the aromatic mouth watering dishes. They offer three spice levels that are spot on; mild, medium, and hot. Try the garlic nan bread as well, you wont be disappointed.

Really great Indian food, which is so hard to find in this area. I recommend the Chicken Korma. Mild and creamy. Delicious! And the garlic naan is amazing.

Got the Rhogan Josh and garlic naan. Really tasty. Will be coming back for more tomorrow. Prices were fair, my bill with taxes was less than $ 20.

I’m giving a 5* cause this place is great for Sioux City! It’s clean! Love the white table cloths and nice silverware and dishes. Service is a little bit slower… but it’s a different culture and I’d rather have that then be rushed. We tried several items including the chicken Pakora, chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, garlic naan and it was all delicious and fresh! Enjoyed the chickpea salad served with our lunch and the side of veggies cooked in a sauce. We also had the herbal tea, I was expecting it cold but it was hot… very strong but I enjoyed it. We each had a mango lassi to go and it was delicious… I will go back and try more items!

Nice surprise ! Loved the Chicken Biryani. Large portions so enough left overs for lunch next day. Mild dish with nuts, rice, chicken, great flavor. Husband equally enjoyed spicy chicken curry. Great service, nice interior. New favorite in Sioux City.

Great service and atmosphere. Food was good, I had Chicken Tiki Masada and Garlic Naan. The Garlic Naan was really good. I look forward to coming back and trying more dishes, so I would recommend coming to support the only Indian restaurant in town.

Didn’t even know it was in town until I looked on Unilocal and thought I’d give it a try. The service was great and helpful explaining the meals since I had only eaten Indian food once before. The food was very tasty. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and the nuun bread. It was excellent. I got it with mild or no spice but you can get mild medium or hot. I will definitely return.

Really great Indian food and trust me, I’ve had my fair share. It’s Mid-westernized so it’s very mild but the Chicken Tikka Masala is amazing. Make sure to get some garlic naan also. Service is a little slow, but that’s because everything is made fresh. That’s way better than having a bulk buffet, where things are left to sit all day. Glad to see some variety in Sioux City!

Not a big fan of Indian food, but this place is really good. I think the service was a little slow, but the place looks really good and has decent prices. I would come here again.

This wasn’t my first time eating Indian cuisine, but it was my first time at this restaurant, and I was VERY, VERY impressed from the moment I walked in the door! The atmosphere, cleanliness of the restaurant and bathrooms, the table settings, friendliness of the staff, and above all, the FOOD was EXCELLENT! My husband and I are so glad we came, and we will definitely be back!

Great atmosphere, terrific staff, and most importantly, delicious, authentic, Indian food! They’ll adjust the degree of spiciness to your liking; from mild to melt-your-face hot. You can even bring the kids, as they have a children’s menu.

Great addition to Sioux City. Came in for lunch, and ordered the Chicken Biryani with the chick pea salad, and a side of naan bread. My girlfriend ordered the buttered chicken. Service was very friendly, and they were attentive to our needs. They forgot our tea at first, but they remedied it quickly. They have an appropriate heat scale, I ordered it as spicy, at the scale of 7 out of 10, and my girlfriend ordered hers at a more mild 0… The food took a bit to arrive, but was wholly worth the wait. The food had the correct level of heat for both of us. The food had wonderful, had great flavor, and tasted fresh. They even gifted us a small appetizer. Pricing was reasonable all around, with a very reasonable lunch menu pricing. The portions were large, and well balanced. If only they didn’t have paper table covers… Understandable considering the way food is prepared.

They were a little slow in taking my order but once they got going, they hit it out of the ballpark. This place has the best samosas Ive ever had. Period. Its all in the spices. The batter they used for the appetizers was light and flakey. The shrimp dish I had contained HUGE perfectly cooked shrimp. I hope to be through here again.
