Waba Grill

I’ve been to one of thier other locations and thier food was great ! They recently opened one about 5 minutes from my house and I decided to take my family out for lunch there. They absolutely loved it ! I got the chicken bowl with brown rice and my family all got a chicken and steak plate with white rice.
The food is delicious and thier hot sauce is one I have an obsession over. The extra teriyaki sauce is also a big plus!
The staff was great. There were two girls in the front and a guy in the back and they were all very kind. We happened to be the only ones in the restaurant at that time and the guy was telling a funny life story and we were all able to enjoy a moment of laughter with him.
The store is fairly remodeled and very clean with an almost new vibe. There’s is plenty of parking so that’s not at all an issue. I definitely have been and will continue to be back.

Clean food made right every single time we are there, and you cannot beat the price.
Steak, chicken, salmon and shrimp all cooked to order over veggies, white or brown rice. Top everything off with waba sauce, possible splurge and add AVOCADO! This place is a gem.

Meh. They claim to be healthy but I’m not seeing it. Better than McDonald’s yes, but not my first choice for healthy food. The portion seemed small for the price and the fountain lemonade seemed a bit watered down :(this place left no lasting impression with me. Not jumping to return anytime soon. Not bad, just got great. 2.5 stars

Would not recommend I have picked up phone orders to go (for one person) and they have managed to get my order wrong both times… I asked for no rice and extra veggies and I got literally a bowl full of cabbage with 3 pieces of broccoli l. Then when I tell them that doesn’t look like extra veggies to me they want to argue about it. Def will not be coming back and if your going to go make sure you check your order before you leave awful service

Visited this place about a month ago. Agree, that the facility is clean and the staff seemed friendly. Cost seems a little high for what you get because the portions are clearly controlled but on the small end if the spectrum. The chicken was okay, but agree that it seemed pre-​packaged and pre-​cooked so simple warm it up and go fare. All in all, not sure if I’d go back because the value doesn’t feel like it’s there.

Overall I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here. We got plates and it was literally a smaller portion then the bowl but it costs more… The steak was extremely dry even putting a bunch of sauce on it didn’t make it taste good. :\ also, try to resist getting a fountain drink there. All their drinks are extremely watered down so there’s no point. We left disappointed and still hungry… won’t be coming back unless they change management or how they lie about being «healthy» !

Thought it was really good and a great price. Even came with a free drink. Food was cooked super fast and customer service was great as well.

This was my first time going, but the employees were very friendly and it’s a very fast past environment. I was VERY pleased and satisfied. And the food is absolutely yummy! :) I’ll definitely be coming back :) !!

Wow I’m so disappointed I wanted to call in an order over the phone it’s about 8:30 when I call the guy answers the phone and the first thing that comes out of his mouth is I hope you know we’re closing soon. And then I ask him OK so is that enough time for me to place an order? His answers oh I guess Wow really you guys close at 9:00 ?? customer service needs some work Oh well guess we will take our money elsewhere !

Really good food. However, if you sit inside bring a gas mask. This place is about as smokey as a Vegas nightclub. I thought it was a swat raid with tear gas but they’re just on the Waba grill going ham.

I am not impressed. I was told that my meal would take 5 minutes. The meal took over 20 minutes and the portion is small. Food tasted fine but certainly not worth that kind of wait. I won’t be returning.

Great food but the atmosphere sucked… We went and had a wonderful tasting meal around 7:30 pm and all of the sudden one of the employees decides to start scraping the flat oven top with a metal scraper. Mind you this place had most of the room filled with other people dinning and this guy has a brilliant idea to start capping away. The noise was equvelet to someone scraping a chalk board with metal nails, basically unpleasant. Try to enjoy a meal with your girl while this is going for 5 min straight.

I’ll start with the positive. The facility appeared to be very clean. I was told up front that they only had brown rice and that white rice would not be an option as they had run out. The young lady who took my order had a smile on her face and spoke clearly and politely. The food is ok. I would eat it again.
I ordered a half and half bowl (meat only, no veggies) and a half and half plate. I was charged for a half and half bowl with veggies (more expensive than without veggies) and charged correctly for the other meal. I caught the mistake as they were packing my order. They corrected it on the line, packed my food to go, and the young lady handed me my order. She did not offer to reimburse me the difference between the two meals. I had to ask her to do that.
I understand that mistakes can be made, but to try and send me on my way without correcting the price difference is reprehensible.
Go for quick food, but take care to watch that you get what you ordered and you are charged accordingly.

The food was fresh and you could tell. Im a big fan of teriyaki so I had to try this place. Very impressed with both the chicken and beef. Definitely will be back when Im craving teriyaki!

I just went to WaBa grill. I ordered the chicken and beef with brown rice, salad and streamed veggies.
The food was fresh and the portion enough for lunch and some left overs for later! The chicken and beef was perfect the brown rice also. the salad was fresh and I really liked the dressing. The veggies where streamed. The drink was included in the price which was nice. I felt like I really had a good healthy lunch ! I’ll be back soon!

First impressions about the steak bowl I ordered. It looked like a frozen TV dinner but for the price of a restaurant. Was not impressed the first time but gave them another chance since it’s convenient. The tofu bowl with brown rice and veggies is good. The sauces you can get on the side are good. This is a decent place for «healthy» fast food. Nothing super special but not bad.

We enjoyed our dinner here and will be returning. We ordered a kids chicken. A steak and chicken plate and a chicken bowl.
The steak was so tender and had great flavor. The chicken was very good as well. I’m happy to have another place to get dinner for the fam when I’m not in the mood to cook but want something somewhat healthy.

Great healthy food. It’s nice to have somewhere to get a quick meal that tastes good and is healthy. I had the steak bowl and I really liked it.

This restaurant spot was really good and delicious and all the food looked so healthy. The portion sizes where actually not that bad from the small bowls to the large plates. The chicken and steak plate was very flavorful and don’t forget the extra teriyaki sauce and hot sauce that they have on the side in the dispensers. I will definitely be coming back to this place because the food is good and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend you try out this restaurant if you have not already and if you have, go again.

This place is just what Simi needs. A healthy fast food option. I came on the first day they opened and they were all nice, and good quick service. The taste is delicious. I am so exited that this place has opened. I highly recommend the chicken steak plate, disclaimer I got extra meat, either way it’s a really good portion. Hope this place survives and thrives.
