Shedlock Heating & Air

Over the last year we have had 5 different service calls to 5 different a/​c repair services. Our drain pan was overflowing and one time it leaked onto the ceiling. They tried to blow out the secondary drain from the pan and said it was too blocked to fix. So to prevent overflow and ceiling damage, they installed a cut-​off switch so if the pan did get full, the whole system would shut off. Even though this prevents flooding, but it is still inconvenient. We could either wait for another service person to show up in very hot weather and/​or get up into the attic and siphon water off the pan so the a/​c would start up again which only worked temporarily until the pan refilled.
Yesterday it cut off again for the 2^nd time in a week. I called Eric and he came out the next morning. In less than an hour he blew out the main drain pipe so water should not be filling the pan now. The secondary pipe could not be blown out with pressure. He located where it exited the building (which was not obvious because when they stuccoed the house, someone sealed it up with sealant and painted over the top). He removed the blockage, blew out the secondary pipe and everything works.
Finally, after all these other repair people, and all this misinformation — not to mention the repeat service calls and costs– our a/​c is working just as it should!
I am so glad I found Shedlock. They were prompt in showing up, reasonably priced, and above all, knew what they were doing.

Recently witnessed their technicians harass someone. Within a 5 minute period they tried to run another driver off the road, then started following them and looked to be trying to start a fist fight. I also saw the tech using his cell phone while driving. I’m not sure if there’s something I missed, but regardless they should attempt to show at least a sliver of professionalism when representing their company and not trying to start car accidents and fist fights.

First, Shedlock Heating & Air, was the best quote out of 4 I received, and Eric explained to me in terms I could understand, why my 35 yr. old furnace was dangerous to repair. 2^nd, Eric helped me make the arrangements, to have my asbestos ducting removed properly. The guys were on time everyday, worked hard and got the job done timely, & correct. We are enjoying great heat, just in time for a rare California coldsnap, and our family is extremely happy. The customer service, and professionalism we received, went above & beyond what we expected. I would recommend Shedlock Heating & Air to anyone.
