Passion Nails

I went to several nail shops around Simi and was disappointed but I’ve FINALLY found my new place!
I made an appointment for 5:30 and even though I didn’t get seen until 5:45 it was worth the wait.
I didn’t catch the girl’s name who did my nails, but she’s very petite, young, and has cute shoulder — length hair.
She was short on conversation which I appreciated.
She did my acrylic fill-​in, nail repair, and a design for $ 30. She’s a total perfectionist and would do very small touch-​ups and ensured my nails were awesome (without me pointing out areas that needed to be fixed). Her lines are sharp and the color is solid.

really upset about not answering the phones when their hours say they are open. i start school tomorrow and I’m in need of nice nails. too bad they are not getting my business.

I don’t have one specific nail salon that I normally go to so I decided to give Passion Nails a chance. Passion Nails lacks passion.
We came in at about 11am this morning. There were two people working on me. One for my manicure and one for my pedicure.
Let’s start with my pedicure. The woman working on my pedicure did an okay job. She cleaned the nails but the scrub was less than average. The nail polish job was HORRIBLE. There were lots of bubbles. Another employee, noticed I was not happy with the polish on my toes due to all the noticeable bubbles. Instead of truly fixing it, they just tried to cover it up with more coats of the nail polish. So what I have now is about 4 coats of polish that is so thick that the polish is clumpy and still has many bubbles.
Now, the manicure. The lady CUT me! Seriously?! She cut my cuticle so deep that it still hurts and stings 8 hours later… I was bleeding, and once I noticed it, she said sorry. BUT NOT UNTIL I NOTICED IT! She then left me and began working on someone else. A different employee finished putting on my polish. Another rushed polish job resulting in many bubbles.
Quite frankly, this place was a waste of my money. I could do a better job, and will be re-​doing both my manicure and pedicure immediately. This place is not worth the risk nor your hard earned money. There are many more nails salons around the area and I recommend you take your business else where.

My daughter and I have been coming here every 2 weeks for a few years now. It is definitely the best nail salon around! Our nails look perfect every time and the pedicures are amazing! Very clean and a nice relaxing spa experience! Won’t go anywhere else! We love it!

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now and love it! Hannah is amazing and they always do what YOU want. But they also have great suggestions on color or designs if you’re open or not sure what you want. The salon is clean and comfortable. They offer free coffee or water which is nice. Always a great place to pamper myself every 2 – 3 weeks :)

So after reading numerous wonderful reviews I decided to try this nail salon out for myself. I am extremely picky so the fact that I walked out ecstatic with my mani pedi means a lot. I was the only one in the salon at the time that I went but both Hannah and Jenny took their time and did an amazing job on my French tip acrylics and French tip pedicure. Everyone there was so sweet, they’ve just earned another customer, and I’ll recommend this place to everyone! (:

I called before hand to make sure if be able to get my fill done and the guy said 20 minutes, no problem. I show up and am seated immediately, I’m thinking «awesome I’ll be out quickly»! One guy begins my nails and seems to be putting effort into what he’s doing, then a lady came in and needed a fill also. After the lady came in he started going over my nails so quickly that I was afraid he would cut me with the tool. After doing a half ass job be quickly got up and began the ladies nails. A different guy came in to paint my nails. But my nails were too long and extremely pointy. (Not what they looked like before, I got stiletto nails) so I asked for them to be shorter and more rounded. When I asked this they immediately began muttering and laughing to each other in a foreign language. After explaining the the man two times that they were too long for my liking and rather sharp he finally (somewhat) did what I asked. Finally time to paint my nails and the paint I chose was extremely thick and did not cover well, this guy applied about 5 layers to my thumb nail and an hour after was still not dry and clumped at the top.
Over all I ended up leaving the salon very pissed off and irritated. I do NOT recommend this place unless you have an appointment and you know they will not rush on your nails. Nothing is worse than paying for something you don’t even like and bad service.
Really wish I didn’t have this experience otherwise id probably be back in 2 weeks for my fill. :/

NEVER COMIG HERE AGAIN! they really messed up my eyebrows. I had thick eyebrows and they turned them into the thinnest strips I am so sad I came home and cried! I know it’s only hair but they messed them up!!! I’m too nice to say anything to them so I didn’t I got into the car and cried. NEVER COME HERE FOR WAXING!!!

I can in on a Sunday. On a whim. There was two people working on nails. But someone else was on the back so she helped me right away. I wanted a spa pedicure. The person who helped me was very sweet, did not rush what so ever. She did a great job. A small very pleasant atmosphere.

This place is the best! I went in there for the first time today and after reading the review I wanted to go check this place out. It did not disappoint me. I love my nails! And the people there are so nice. I never once felt like they were all talking and laughing about like in many other nail salons. Definitely going back there from now on. :)

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now, and it is definitely one of the cleanest nail salons in the area. Everyone is friendly, and if you call in, for an appointment, they will let you know when is the best time to come in for your mani and/​or pedi.
They have done an excellent job, and my pedicure usually lasts for about a month, or possibly longer without chipping.

I have been going to nail salons for years and FINALLY found the perfect one! Jimmy is a nail master and Tammy does the best pedicures I’ve ever had. And the absolute best part is that there is no idle chatter between themselves or with customers… total relaxation. I hope they stay in that location forever (but will follow them wherever they go :)

This place is awesome! Best pedicure I’ve ever had. Everyone was so nice I will definitely be going there again

The lady did a great job! I called and they were closed & they saw my missed call & called me back! Will be coming here again! Great upgrade packages for pedicures!
