Clear Vue Windshield Repair

This is my first experience dealing with a crack in a car windshield. I rented a car while mine was in the shop. While I was driving on the fwy a small rock hit my glass and cracked the center of my windscreen smack dab in the middle. Although The crack was really small, like just a little more than half an inch… I decided that I did not want to risk getting hit with a bill from my insurance for this crack in the windscreen, which would involve another claim. I found Fred on Unilocal and was able to set an appointment with him immediately. He repaired the crack for $ 60 and like magi.c. POOF it’s gone. Excellent work, totally professional. Highly recommend.

Recently had the Windshield repaired on my Toyota Corolla, 3 days before it was due to be returned to the dealer on lease return I got hit by a rock that left a pretty good chip in the glass.
I called Fred and he came to the rescue, called me before our appointment time and had the chip fixed in thirty minutes, so well that I couldn’t even tell where it was. I was looking for someone to repair a rock hit, found Fred on Unilocal.Gave him a call, he explained how it work and gave me a time as to when he would be here. Arrived at my residence on time, actually a little early, got the work done in about 30 minutes. Explained exactly what he was doing and why. He even let me watch the whole process. I called Fred to inquire about repairing my cracked windshield. He came to my house exactly the time he stated. Unfortunately the crack was too extensive for him to repair. But didn’t charge me for his time to come out. He did give me a referral for a place to replace it.
Fred was super friendly and informative. Although I didn’t require his services this time around, will definitely keep his card for the future, and pass it along to others.

My car had a crack in the front window. I called Clear Vue (Fred) based on the positive Unilocal reviews. Fred gave me an appointment time and arrived promptly. When Fred took a look at the crack in my window, he honestly told me that it was too extensive. He informed me that he could try to repair it but the quality of the job would be poor and that he would not recommend it. He provided me with a solid referral for a glass replacement company.
There are some people in this world who are out to make a fast buck and will promise you anything to secure a job. Not Fred. He has 7 years of practice behind him and takes pride in the quality of his service. I will keep Fred’s contact info and gladly refer him out to friends who are in need of good car window repair. This is a man you can trust.

I’d only had my car for about two months when, while driving down the 118 freeway, my windshield was struck by a small rock. I didn’t notice the tiny ding at the base of my windshield until I came out of work the next day and saw it had become an 8 inch crack. I called Clear Vue and spoke to Fred at about 4:30 on Wednesday. He informed me that he didn’t have time to do it that evening but would come to my house the next day after I was done with work. He gave me several ideas to prevent any further cracking. The next day at 2:00 I got a call from my daughter’s school telling me she had fallen and broken her wrist. While driving to the hospital I called Fred and told him what had happened and asked if there was any way he could come to the hospital instead of my house. He called me back and kindly inquired about my daughter prior to letting me know that it would be no problem for him to meet me at the hospital. He called me five minutes before he arrived which gave me time to run out to my car. I left him with my car and went back in to be with my daughter. About 20 minutes later he called me again to let me know he was done. I was so appreciative of his flexibility, kindness and professionalism. He made a stressful time a little easier.
