Great donuts, great service. The owner is so very kind… a real pleasure. Very mom-​and-​pop feel. Nothing super fancy here with fruit loops or crushed Heath bars sprinkled on the donuts, just good, fresh traditional donuts. My favorites are the maple iced cinnamon roll, chocolate iced custard-​filled, and the chocolate chip filled (microwave it! You won’t regret it). What I also love is that if you get a jelly or custard-​filled, the owner fills them on the spot, so your filling is fresh and hasn’t been sitting out for hours. He also doesn’t skimp… I hit custard or jelly by the second bite every time.
I went in today and it was close to closing. The donuts I bought tasted fresh, like the ones in the morning. No crispy edges or stiff cake like with other places that sell their morning batches in the afternoon at full price. Fantastic.

Great service! They were out of custard filled so the nice man went in the back and filled a maple bar with custard for me!

Best donuts has changed hands a few times, but it seems to have landed safely on it’s feet. The selection & quality is very good plus the service is great as well!
My favorites are the chocolate devils food donuts and especially the cinnamon rolls!

I grew up in Simi Valley. Spent the first part of my life there. Explored every food corner and came up almost empty handed. ALMOST. Simi Valley has two good things going for it… my mom AND Best Donuts. Just blocks from my childhood home, this place serves up tasty creations daily, but none as good as the chocolate donut with chocolate and chocolate chips. This donut is perfection… just a little bit crispy and a little bit soft. Everything I have tried here is really good… the glazed as sweet and delectable, the cinnamon rolls are devine and the chocolate bars are scrumptious.

Best Doughnuts have been serving the desolate and sometimes forgotten area of Kuehner Dr for as long I was playing in the sandbox. Very loyal business — they know their patrons & saints. Every morning I come here to get my favorites: maple bar, chocolate glaze, old fashion doughnut, and jelly-​filled doughnut. Not all at once, I like to change it up. Hot coffee is not my style so I’ll grab the bottled Starbucks frappuccino.
Doughnuts are always fresh and I love that fresh doughnut smell.
Don’t go anywhere Best Doughnuts! Morning commuters like me need you to stay awake on the 118!
