There are no words to describe how badly my hair turned out. My experience started badly with me having to push my 3:45pm appointment back to 4:15pm because a lady who was there mixed her dates so I was nice enough to let Angela start her hair color before she started with mine. Once I got to Angela I showed her a picture of how I wanted the color to look like but I ended up with grey hair. Then I thought maybe one I straighten it it will look better… nope! I had some previous highlights that I had done a while back that were caramel and you can tell the difference in the colors. Now I don’t even want anyone from there touching my hair. The whole time she kept complaining about how thick my hair was a saying how normally this wouldn’t take her this long. I left there at 7:45 and this is what I have to show for it! I just want my money back so I can take it to go get fixed by someone else!!! The only reason I couldn’t judge her work when I was there was bc it was so late I had to get home to my kids so I didn’t let her blow dry or style, never again will I do that. She was nice but this is not quality work at all, worst experience ever. Now I’m going to have to spend more money to see if this can be fixed

I made an appointment here based off the good reviews and I’m so happy I did! My appointment was made with Andrea and she’s seriously awesome. She listened to what I wanted and my hair came out better than what I had in mind. Highly recommend her and this Salon!

Tanya has done my hair multiple times and I always leave extremely pleased! She listens and executes my requests to perfection. I even asked her about tips for getting more volume at home and she talked me through it while she was doing it and suggested products to use. She also suggested products for beachy hair because she noticed my hair is naturally wavy. She’s great the receptionist is great my hair looks great. Couldn’t ask for more from a salon! Thank you.

Mariam is patient and kind, very sweet and very good at what she does. I always get my eyebrows waxed from her because she really knows how to put them on FLEEK!
I swear I come in looking one way and I come out looking like myself again! Always happy with what she does and she does it oh, so well!

Claudia is the best. She’s the only one I trust with my color, cut and straightening/​relaxing hair treatments. We’ve done so much to my hair and I’ve always been thrilled with my results

Sandra has been doing my hair for years. I trust no one else. She is an awesome hairdresser. So friendly and always available when I need to come in. I always love my hair when its done and she is always great when it comes to recommendations and making sure I don’t do anything too crazy. I highly recommend Sandra!

Angela did a great job on my cut, color, and blow dry. She took her time to make sure evening was right. Plus, she had a great deal on Groupon! I’m very satisfied. She had earned herself a new customer.

I got a Groupon for a wash/​cut/​blow dry style with Pam and it was by far the best haircut and best experience in a salon I’ve ever had. I didn’t give her much direction, just told her I needed it shorter and thinner (I have super thick hair) and she told me what she suggested, and she was right on in her ideas. The cut is perfect, the layering is phenomenal, and she completely flat ironed all my hair (which is no small feat.) She was sweet, relatable and so easy to talk to. I don’t live in Simi anymore, but I will FOR SURE be getting my haircut by Pam every time I visit my family in Simi. Pam is top notch, her work is impeccable and I’m just thrilled. I left there feeling SO beautiful. She took a picture of me/​my hair to put in her phone, and told me she takes notes on all her clients so she knows what she did and their story and I thought that was pretty awesome. She’s my new girl! You won’t be sorry– go see Pam!

We went here again on Saturday. This time it was my turn. I’m usually fine going to the beauty school to get my hair cut, highlights, whatever. My mother really liked her stylist and said I should go here instead, and she treated me for an early birthday present. Stellar.
I just told the stylist that I prefer to wear my hair longer, but other than that she could just do whatever to make it more *je né sais quoi. Yeah. I was totally pleased with the result, too bad I’ll never be able perfectly replicate the result. Isn’t that just the way of it though? Some people are just magic with blowdryers and knowing products and stuff, I generally consider just brushing my hair and putting it into a ponytail to be satisfactory. I’ve changed my mind, but I’m still lazy…

I came upon Maryam Talash based on a Living Social deal and I have been going to her ever since! She is FANTASTIC!!! Always a joy to be around and she does a fabulous job on my hair. She always understands exactly what I want and has always delivered. So glad I stumbled upon that Living Social deal :)

I go to Bella Gente to visit Crystal for my eyebrow waxes. She knows what she is doing and always gets every stray hair. Plus, she is a sweetheart to talk to. I definitely recommend her for waxing needs!

Rude front office staff. Maryam ruined my hair, started falling out. Charges low the first time, then jacks up the price next time. Go somewhere else. You have been warned.

This was the most amazing place I have been too! Starting with the very warm welcome from the manager/​receptionist/​friendliest person on earth Andrew, I felt comfortable and like a guest in someone’s mansion. I think every salon should have an Andrew running their business. You can not help but love him. I was offered a beverage before Melissa came to take me to have a shampoo. This was my first visit here, but Melissa chatted with me how I wanted my hair and did that but only 190 times better. She is extremely talented, warm, friendly and is such a professional. I felt at complete ease with her doing my hair. I am going back today for my 2^nd time and could hardly wait! I called for an appointment and my new best friend Andrew found one that was perfect for me! This place deserves way more than 5 stars!!!

I received a gift package for X– mas for Posh, hard to find with gift card, but soo worth the effort! Loved my facial!!! I have been back to have my nails & hair done. Very nice salon & staff!!!

This location is a bit far but the staff and extras they offer is worth it. I showed up a half hour earlier but was able to do some homework using their free WiFi. I was also offered (and accepted) some hot chocolate. The staff was very friendly from the get go.
Maryam was very flexible with her schedule to fit me in! Even though I currently reside in Port Hueneme, I would make the trip again. I got highlights and a haircut. At first they were too light, but we were able to darken them up a tab, when I was concerned with the turnout.
Again great staff and atmosphere to be in.

Heather Herman is an Amazing stylist!!! Based on a friends referral, I finally made it out to Bella Gente for a long-​overdue haircut. Typical story, I told Heather I wanted to keep the length but get rid of the dead-​ends and add some layers… but keep the length :) It’s been almost four weeks now and my hair still looks great. Through blow-​drys, curling and flat-​irons, the cut is still bouncy and the layers fall perfectly.
The salon itself was open and airy and everyone seemed very nice and friendly. There’s nothing worse than a salon that makes you insecure and unwelcome… you know the ones where you feel like even the girl taking appointments at the front desk is judging you… This place is nothing like that and the opposite of several of my salon experiences. I highly recommend trying this place out. I know Heather was really easy to get along with and I will be back soon!!!

The massage therapist Art is amazing! Ive had many massages, by both men and women, and have found most male massage therapists to be too rough. Well, not Art, he has a great touch, not too much pressure, and is easy on the eyes as well.
