On a packed weekend during a festival, we received such amazing service and fast drinks it’s not even funny! Go for the jalapeño or the skinny Marg — both are amazing!

This place rocks! Exquisite service and smiley faces. The food was delicious the service was on point. Best place in town, hands down. You’re missing out if you don’t come.

Amazing green chili, margaritas and tacos. Everything was really good including the service. Will be a new favorite when visiting Silverton.

Eclectic décor, really nice people, good food. We had the taco salad and ribeye steak, both excellent. Fast service on a Sunday night. Prices very fair. Definitely will return.

Just had lunch at Rudy’s. Great service and great food! The owner was very nice and really made you feel welcome.

Buffet style all you can eat. Food is fine and, obviously, you can be in and out as quickly as you wish so you can walk around and still not miss your train back to Durango.

Lunch buffet was the best meal we had in Silverton this year. The service was friendly and accomodating. The food was tasty and constantly replenished. The price for lunch, drink and dessert is a smoking deal for what you get anywhere else in town.
I hope the quality is just as good for next years trip.

Found this delightful café while on train ride. On main paved road turn right coming from train. Fresh plentiful buffet great prices full bar but still family friendly.

Lunch buffet was excellent. Tasty food, both Mexican and American. Home cooked and delicious. Roast turkey and ham, fresh mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy. Salads, deserts, drinks all included. My son and I loved the food. The owner is super friendly, the service is fantastic — super attentive — and the whole place is clean as a whistle, including the restroom. Highly recommend.

This is a relative new comer on the Silverton restaurant scene. It bills itself as Mexican and American food. I have only been once and have only tried the Mexican half of the menu. I had the carnitas and my wife had the chicken fajitas. The carnitas was above average. The pork was tender and flavorful without a lot of additional seasoning to make it that way. My wife’s fajitas were good but the chicken appeared to lack browning or roasting, which I think is part of a good fajita experience. The veggies that accompanied the fajitas were great though, and the homemade salsa definitely held its own.
The hostess was very nice and helpful while the lone waitress on the floor tended toward a more efficient style… Probably because she had to. She and the hostess handled the whole floor of about 24+ guests alone. I was impressed. Overall a memorable and above average experience despite the brief interactions with the wait staff. By Silverton standards this place deserves a 4.

Our guide recommended this spot on a recent ski trip to Silverton. Great carnitas, chips, salsa, and guacamole. Will definitely eat here again next year.

Great place in a great town. The food is great and the portions are large. If you’re looking for a good time and and some great food. Tracy (the legend) is THE best server/​person in the town and will defiantly steer you in the right direction. If you’re in Silverton go there, you will not be disappointed.
