I was at a Friends last night and he had a wonderful, round accu massager thing. I used it for my feet and it was incredible. I asked to buy it from him and he said no way, he got it in Ohio and didn’t know how to get another. When he told me no, I thought Stone Buddha just might have this unique item. I went there today on a quest. When I described the item to the owner she said yes, I think I have one left. She took me over to a shelf and bam there it was and only $ 5 to boot. She is now out of the cool foot massager thing, but I am eternally grateful. Thank you Stone Buddha

Silverton is full of pleasant surprises. This Asian store has quite a nice selection of all things imported from books and stationary, to clothing, art and jewelry. And while the scale is small, it is always pleasure to find places that aren’t just the same old, same old in the country.
Things get off to a fun start with the sign out front. One side says «Entering China town of Silverton» and the back side says «Leaving China Town of Silverton.»

I haven’t been to Stone Buddha in a year but every time I come to visit my parents in Silverton, I HAVE to make a stop in this store. It’s not a very big shop, but I can walk around in circles for days looking at everything they have. Incense & burners, jewelry, candles, beads, furniture, linens, clothing, chimes, pillows, teas, chai, etc… just some really neat stuff. I have bought several unique items here. The ladies who own this place are always so friendly, and they wrap up your purchases with tissue and put them in little take-​out boxes, totally cute! For the longest time they had the sweetest [english?] bulldog that would hang out in her bed in the store and from time to time she would waddle out and greet customers, but I believe he/​she passed away. RIP sweet puppy!

I love Stone Buddha! Renee and Celia are always very welcoming and I feel comfortable browsing around. It helps that you are greeted by bamboo wind chimes and the relaxing smell of incense when you walk in. I can always find something in every price range. It’s a great place for last minute gifts or to seek out a quality and unique antique piece to spice up your home. They also carry Moonstruck chocolate, which is my favorite. Great place to shop and worth a trip if you’re from out of town.
