Starbucks

When the Barristta says, oh I know how to make micro foam, and then pours hot milk into my latte with NO FOAM she doesn’t know how! I gave this Starbucks one more try and they wasted another $ 6.25. Ugh never coming back here and am going to spread the word along with alerting Starbucks corporate.

Happy to have a drive-​thru Starbucks in Silverdale finally! The baristas have always been very friendly at this location. I only use the drive-​thru (so far) but the parking lot as well as entrance/​exit from this location is a bit odd. Otherwise it’s a typical Starbucks experience.

Stopped by here to kill some time, the parking situation is a little weird and scary. I got my tried and trusted java chip frappé and my hint got a caramel macchiato. It was delicious. Other than the crazy parking we will be back for sure.

So my husband & I stopped by Starbucks today. I grabbed my usual favorite — a spiced chai latte and he ordered a a sweetened iced coffee.
When we pulled up to get it, he tasted it and decided it wasn’t sweet enough. So instead of being passive agressive, like some folks who leave reviews, he simply asked for a bit more sweetener.
Now here’s the HERO of the story! The employee at the window whose name was RUDY was so great! He was so friendly. He kindly added two more pumps and was generally just so jolly and friendly. My husband was happy and we drove off to enjoy our day.
Thank you Rudy for your exceptional customer service. It is so incredibly refreshing to not feel like a burden or annoyance as a customer these days — it means A LOT!

Some of the staff is friendly but every time I go here they short change my cup! I always order a venti and never get a full cup! This is getting to be a daily issue! I drink 2 sometimes 3 cups of coffee from Starbucks every day and this store is always leaving me mad that they feel the need to not fill my cup!

This is the new location in Silverdale with a drive-​thru. I was a regular at the old location near Albertson’s.
Yes, the coffee is the same Starbucks as anywhere else, and my 3 star rating has nothing to do with the quality. There are plenty of Starbucks haters out there — I am not one of them. It tastes fine to me. No, this rating is more about the quality of service and overall experience since the move. Most of the employees from the earlier location moved with the store. I used to go in, they would recognize me and I seldom had to say what I wanted. Now their business is much higher volume, especially when you add the drive-​thru in. The employees seem less inclined to get to know the customer and the whole experience seems impersonal.
And the parking lot is a study in chaos. I am not sure what the planners were thinking when they put this location together, but the parking alone is enough to make me avoid this location.
So I will find a new store, probably the smaller store down the street. I wish the new location success, and based on what I have experienced so far, they don’t need my business.
