I absolutely love this bar! The staff is always friendly and are VERY good with remembering people and their drinks. I will pick this bar any night of the week over anywhere else. They make you feel like family!

Didn’t care for this place. Always wanted to go there because I enjoy a good dive bar. We pulled up to the bar and there was only one stool which was not a big deal. After we got our drinks I noticed three open seats at the bar. When me and my husband went to sit there we were told the seats were taken — however there were no drinks, no jackets, no purses, no signs of anyone using the seats. We finished our drinks and left, the seats we were told were taken still remained empty. If you work in a restaurant/bar a smile and a wee bit of kindness go a long way — something this place is lacking.

I chose this bar for a ladies night out at the urging of two of my coworkers who thought it would be busy and fun on a Saturday night. That was not the case; the bar had an extremely low energy level and had many open tables. When I went up to inquire about karaōke, the DJ was downright rude to me and the sound system is atrocious. The food was disappointing. I get that it’s pub food, but the nachos were inedible, the fries were under seasoned and the thin frozen preformed patty was tasteless. But really the standout disappointment was the service. Just all around terrible. In spite of eating at a table, we had to go to the bar every time to order more drinks. When closing my tab at the end of the night, I waited while three people who arrived at the bar after me were helped first, then the bartender JUSTLEFT. Just… left the bar. What on earth? I threw in one star because the pool tables are extremely cheap and there are shuffleboard tables and dart boards to keep you entertained if you’d like an activity other than being sneered at by a karaōke DJ. I’d return if I pressed to by a large group of friends, but you’d never find me in this bar again at my own suggestion.

I’ve been to Our Place many times. If you’re in Silverdale, and you’re looking for a bar, it’s a good place to go, for many reasons. Their food is bar food, but slightly better than most bars. If you’re looking for fine dining, this ain’t the place, but it’s still delicious. The beer selection is pretty typical: 2 or 3 domestics plus 4 or 5 local beers on tap, with a variety of bottled beers in the cooler. The typical patron during the day is retired or nearly so, and the laid back atmosphere reflects that. In the evenings the crowd gets much younger, but still somewhat mixed, age-wise. This bar has the feel of a little bit country and a little bit classic rock, and that’s what is playing on the jukebox, for the most part. The log cabin feel of the building lends to both musical aspects. The lighting is pretty dark, which is usually ok, but I like going to bars with pretty bartenders, and they have a few, so I feel like I’m getting a little short-changed with the dim lighting.(If you prefer male bartenders, they only have one.) Really, the bartenders can make or break any bar, and the current staff has a pretty good attitude. They’re very professional, and yet not so busy they can’t stop and shoot the breeze for a minute or two(if it’s not too busy).(The one with the Texas drawl has got to be the hottest bartender in the county. Maybe cuz she’s got a bit of sass, which I like. But I’ve also gotten lost in those blue eyes. Yowza!!!) Anyway, this is a good bar to go to if you’re just wanting to have a few beers with good friends, or just want to veg, drink your beer, and watch SportsCenter. Some downsides: $ 10 minimum if you’re using a debit card. If you’re under $ 10, they’ll give you a token or two for a beer, and charge you to get your total over $ 10. Kinda lame, especially if you’re never coming back(or lose them, like me). And they have cover charges for extremely mediocre bands that play entirely too loud for that venue, so avoid going there on Friday nights if you’re looking for a quiet place to chat. Also, there can be an over abundance of douchey sailors or Marines, but, for the most part, people are pretty respectful. I’m a mid-30’s white dude who loves beer and I’ve lived in Silverdale, and Our Place was in my top two or three bars of the Silverdale/Bremerton area, if not the top.

Good place to watch the Hawks or any other sports for that matter. Very friendly staff with a family feel. Good beer prices as well and there honey mustard salad dressing is incredible.

I don’t know why every one rags on this place! I went on Tuesday night and they had $ 2 beer, and free pool. It was great. The bartender was awesome, helpful, on top of everything, and not bad to look at either. But on a serious note, it was a normal bar. My biggest complaints were they don’t make trash cans and I didn’t like the ranch Check it out for yourself before you make a decision. Granted I wasn’t there on a busy night, but I had fun, they had good drinks, food, and service.

Loved this place until: I found out that their«pints» are 12 oz. I spoke to the manager and she told me that they’re 14 oz(they’re not) and that the Seahawks won so I should just be happy. Oh, and they were 50¢ off. See you there again never.

Our Place is a pub in Silverdale. It’s the sort of place where people go regularly to drink. The bar honestly has it’s high points and lows, as is normal for any establishment. The beer selection is not horrible for a pub of this type. They have miller and bud, but they also have Red Hook and Mac and Jac’s. These beers aren’t exactly beer geek dreams, but I like drinking them, and I don’t believe every beer you drink has to be a masturbatory exercise in beer snobbery. The food was your standard pub faire, it was cooked, it came with sauce and was probably bought frozen in bulk and deep fried. Again, you have to kep in mind you aren’t eating at a five star here. For what it was, the food was very decent. I didn’t find the seats very comfortable the tables were dirty, the floor looked like it had never seen a broom and the tv’s were obnoxiously placed. I suppose it’s standard, but I think the place could use better furniture in the least. However, it’s standard for the type of place so I am not gonna take them too far down for it. I guess my major sticking point would be the service. While the people weren’t openly rude, I didn’t think they were very nice. Would it kill someone to smile in there? I didn’t really feel very welcomed by the staff while I was there. I guess I would go back there, because the place was close. But I would hardly call the place a destination.

This place is a nice, locals bar. We stopped in on our way to Port Townsend and immediately said that if we lived in the area we would make it a usual stop.

Had some great times here. $ 3 cover on Fri & Sat night and the band is pretty good. Worth checking out but it can get pretty busy on the weekends.

This place is going downhill fast! It’s already an old, smokey smelling bar with torn vinyl barstools and mismatched table seating. The live music blasts you out of the small seating area and the service is HORRIBLE, notice the caps. Most of the time you give up waiting for any table service and go stand in line at the bar to try and get service. The drinks are average, nothing to go back for. The Cheesey Bread used to be the draw for my husband and I. We’d stop by after grocery shopping for a beer and a snack but they’ve changed it and somehow only serve it with stale dry bread now. Not a good change! The last straw was a week ago… we ate dinner before we went knowing the inconsistency of the food and planned on getting a little something later in the night as a snack. We timed it perfectly so we could order just before 10:00 and we’d get a few plates of nachos for us and all our friends. So at 9:45 we went up to the bar to place our order(due to lack of table service) and we were told the late night menu was in effect because it was after 10:00! We argued it was 9:45 and were told they go by bar time and it was 10:02! WHAT? We weren’t asking for a steak dinner with baked potato and a side of crab cakes(I don’t think they have any of that anyway, just trying to make a point), we were asking for nachos! They refused! Poor decision on their part — we won’t be back.

If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would. My husband and I are moving to California soon, and a group of our friends decided to get together as kind of a ‘going away party’. There were 10 of us. Half the group showed up at 6:45 to get a table; we arrived just before 8. Since we hadn’t eaten yet, we ordered drinks(a Hefewiezen & Diet Pepsi) and dinner(French Dip & Rueben) immediately. At 8:30, we still hadn’t gotten our food — the place wasn’t that crowded — so we inquired. We were told that a group of 16 had ordered right before us and this was the reason for the delay. Whatever, that’s cool. we understand. At 8:45, a waitress comes around asking for the cover charge. We all kind of look at her and she explains that the band is going to start at 9 and there’s a $ 3 cover if we’re going to stay. We explain that our group had been there for two hours and that nobody had said anything about a cover charge. We didn’t want to pay it, especially since we were in a completely different room from the band. She told us we either had to pay or leave. We told her we’d ordered dinner & still hadn’t gotten our food; she told us we could eat and then leave. The group decided this was the biggest load of bullshit we’d ever heard, so we told the waitress to go ahead and cancel our food order and we’d pay our bar tab. She had me talk to the manager who didn’t understand why we didn’t just pay the $ 3 cover. When we went to close out our tab — $ 5 for the beer & soda — we were told that there’s a $ 10 minimum to use a card. What. The. Fuck. Now, I will say that my husband used to frequent this pub rather regularly a couple years ago and says that the atmosphere was wonderful. He agrees that is has since changed dramatically. I’m sad to say that this was the first and LAST time I will ever set foot in this place.
